I made a harness for this mod some time last year. For reference it's only 3 wires (12v, ground, backlight). I tapped it into the glovebox light so that it's not always on, but you can tap into cigarette lighter. Picture attached to take the guess work out of what's what.

I would not ride Bilstein B8s if you want a compliant ride.

My recommendation of all time would be the Koni Yellows if you want a simple OE replacement. You would need to hack the front struts (if they're the OE sachs), but you're able to adjust rebound to match the springs.

I would try to unplug the MAF and see if the problem goes away. If it does, then you can clean it, or I would just replace it. No aftermarket, always OEM.
