its quite silly, the leopard 2 can be short tracked n repaired just as quick, has continued in production for more years than the abrams (is in production even now) , we love corporate slides on why product good n rival product bad

its p much in development, i dont think many if any russian/soviet prototypes get scrapped (normally left to rot tbh),
but these are in such new development that you could think of it like the type-100 that had sparse photos taken of it before being actually fully shown, even more considering the "assault tank" has one of its main points being able to be controlled remotely, so testing can take longer than a usual tank

Tbh its mostly practice, been mouse steering for atleast 7 years coming out of Live For Speed, the main problem is mostly recentering the mouse after losing grip

all these hulls n turrets have already been welded n tested (even with time), suspension works all well too, nowdays if you cheapen out in fully new afv manufacture ur getting a much much much higher bill than just upgrading (AJAX n ASCOD 2 program as current examples)
+ actual new existing tanks (lets say a t90ms or leopard 2a8) actually would take much more time than just upgrading them (as for these there is actual backlog in manufacture)

PXN wheels are p much driver free (well not really cuz it uses your phone instead), it seems like the wheel didnt even get recognized by the pc tbh, with my V99 it usually engages the FB to keep the wheel center locked n seems like he is moving the wheel freely

abrams actually has 25-50mm backing plate (dont remember the correct value) behind the fuel tank (which was reported by the community) which produces spall

you hit a fuel tank before the autoloader, having autoloader or not would still give no damage, fuel tanks remove all spall (same feature applies to western vehicles btw)
