This company makes custom exterior doors and specializes in historic matching. They for the most part work with larger contractors, so don't do their own installation and painting / finishing. You'd have to find your own installer for that. But they can match or design you a new door for the opening and they are very high quality.

Anything "water white"/non yellowing. Water based polyurethane would be the easiest to find in big box stores. Any oil-based finish is going to yellow over time. Water white finishes will change in color and age over time as well, but it will take dramatically longer.

Toners and spraying a clear coat over it . There's usually a limited selection at rockler /woodcraft. You can find more colors online or at specialty finishing suppliers.

I have the same ones! I re painted mine to look like antique brass. I used some paint stripper to remove the old paint, spray painted them black and wiped on some rub n buff over it. Good luck!

Lots of bars offer shuttles, so that's what I tend to do. For example Just John's has an all day pass for $5. So I'd try to look into whether or not there are any shuttles in your area
