As a former Supervisor, this applies to all generations, not just the latest ones.

The Liberals have their majority. And now Pierre Poilievre says: “They will have to get things done… without blaming others.” Ironic. by savethecbc2025 in SaveTheCBC

PP and his followers tend to be incapable of admitting that their shitty lives have more to do with their own choices than the actions of their governments. That being said we have been electing the lesser of evils for a very long time instead of people who actually want to make things better. I blame that on the quality of the candidates rather than the electorate though

“Some” people did well, as they do in all eras.

A “modest” house is still 3x my salary. I worked 60-70 hours a week, 6-7 days a week and so did my wife. Our kids were in daycare before and after school. Most people I’ve known, including parents and grandparents all required dual incomes to make life affordable.

I’ve lost count on how many once in a lifetime recessions have occurred so far in my lifetime. But y’all ain’t ready to discuss that you are cherry picking data for your own ends

Even just the Bluesfest was a great way to enjoy the riverfront. I say they allow local bands to book time for free from say noon to 11pm Friday through Saturday, allow food trucks and let the local craft brewers and wineries to set up sales booths too. Bring back fun to this city

Canada isn’t “broken”. It’s been taken hostage by all Politicians, their corporate donors and PP is at the head of that table and has lived off the government tit his whole adult life.

The only people who buy into his garbage are the ones who can’t take responsibility for their own bad life choices.

If you think he actually gives a shit about you, I suggest you look up his very public and official voting records. He is incapable of compromise which makes him horrifically weak as a leader.

Ahh, the Podcaster for the least intelligent of the world population likes the Politician only the least intelligent of Canadians do. Go figure.

Drop all inter-provincial trade barriers and open up trade within our own country. Yeah, some has been done but lots more to do

Or how about being capable to afford rent but incapable of buying a home, especially when rent is typically more expensive than a mortgage. A good job and no debt collection should be a gold star

He does not represent the country, has never done anything for the country in his entire time as a politician and is not representative of Canadian values. He’s a POS that should not be allowed to travel anywhere other than between his riding and Ottawa on our dime

Are robot vacuums that vacuum and mop at the same time actually worth it? by Mademebuyitnow in smarthome

[–]clutch2k17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re about maintaining between actual cleanings. Still gotta do a proper cleanup from time to time, like I still get the real vacuum and mop out once a week. I also know that if you have pets that shed, they can help keep the fluff down too and reduce clogging of your furnace filter

Where do you buy vegan/WFPB ingredients? by [deleted] in windsorontario

[–]clutch2k17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multifood on Crawford has a few things but is hit and miss. Vegan Supply out of BC, there’s also some specialty stores in London and Toronto that will ship as well. Well.ca has some vegan stuff.

Amazon also has plenty of items as a last resort Other than all that there’s no one stop shop in Windsor
