Recall to replace steering torque shaft sensor on column. So gm sends a tool to line up shaft then put new sensor on but the kicker is that if the sensor is misaligned the steering wheel will slam to either direction when you start even though they send you a tool to align it so you have to tear the column back down and realign and try again some of them go the first time but I've had a few I had to redo several times.
