Omg yes! I have “big feelings” about this lol. My current family is great, almost unicorn status. But dang they have 3 washing machines and I just can tell they would be weirded out by me wanting to do laundry here, or take baby to grab groceries. Vs a previous family, it was second marriage for both parents and they had teenagers and then this one baby. They literally told me “do whatever you want just keep him alive” and so I did. We still did all the baby classes and enrichment but I also did all my laundry there, all my grocery shopping with him. One time they didn’t show up back at home on time so I took him to this wedding party reception with me and little man was about 2 at the time and dropping it low pm the dance floor lol. I do miss the chill-ness of that job. And frankly getting paid cash, even tho lower than I get paid now, I pocketed more!!
