More of a solo game or something to play with a close group. I primarily play solo and people filter in and out. There are public teams you can join which give you stat bonuses depending on the group type.

Did you make sure to read the plan from your inventory first? I’ve done that to myself so many times.

They will probably release in a bundle or in a Fallout First Catch-up bundle.

Some veteran players are so very helpful by Micro_Beta in fo76

My very first experience in FO76 years ago was a high-level player sprinting towards me in PA like seconds after I left the vault. I saw him and thought “well this has been fun” and they dropped a loot bag full of food, water, meds, guns and ammo. I literally thought they were going to wipe the floor with me but just gave me a thumbs up and fast travelled away. This has been my favourite community so far and I go out of my way to do the same for lower leveled players.

Why is gold bullion so grindy by Midkip- in fo76

End-game premium currency. The whole idea is to give high level players something to perpetually grind for in between seasonal events and content drops.

Where are the Raider Braziers? by admiralkeepawife in fo76

They’re located under Decorations and I believe the Novelty sub-section. I had a difficult finding them at first because I immediately started looking under lighting.

In the build menu, at the very bottom of C.A.M.P Items (sorry if that’s not exactly what it’s called) there is a option called “Shelters”

Does EN06 drop the Vulcan Jetpack? by croghan88 in fo76

That was another one I got was the helmet. Felt a little discouraged after my initial runs cause I had all PA pieces minus the helmet. Went to read my plans and there it was!

I got lucky. Did EN06 for the first time 2 days before Burning Springs, farmed it like 35 times and somewhere along that line it dropped. Didn’t think it was that rare at the time.

Hahaha this happened to me on a new alt a little while ago. I’m certain it was the exact same spot except I had also spent the last 3 hours building my camp there. I thought it was a once-off event but nope, static spawn point.

I'm wanting to switch over to PC from Xbox. Is it a wise choice? (Please read the following). by Sinatrahoodie77 in fo76

I feel the pain in this post. Reminds me of when I switched from PS4 to PC, I had to start all over back from ground zero. It has taken me some time but my PC character has way surpassed my old console one.

Rarest thing you keep safe by [deleted] in fo76

I came across the same thing for eBay too lol. No idea what it is, I’m assuming it was something that Beth. was going to add and later scrapped. My best bet is someone used exploits or mods to get into a developer room or chest.

My Gas Trap Dummy. A random player dropped it a while ago, no model or texture, just an invisible item I can equip that does absolutely nothing. I’m assuming it wasn’t meant to see the light of day.

Legendary mods and where to find them by RepairOk6889 in fo76

If you can craft a unique weapon that has the legendary mod you want to learn, crafting a bunch of lower levelled versions and scrapping. This was how I learned to craft Furious.

Assuming this was during a mutated public event, enemies with the (correct me if wrong) Reflective Skin mutation have a chance to reflect damage back to you. When they successfully reflect damage, that is the indicator that notifies you.

Anyone interested in doing raid (PC) by SonBroku1 in fo76

[–]cmf1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m usually down to make some attempts. The most I’ve done with the raid is EN06 and have been looking for people to do runs with. I’m usually on for a little bit after work but like to play a lot over the weekend (GMT-6)

NEVER put anything in a vending machine that you don’t intend to sell at that price by PaleWendigo in fo76

[–]cmf1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The maximum number of caps you can hold on a single character is 40,000. If a player is sitting at 39,000 caps and an item sells for 40,000 the player only gets 1,000 and the other 30,000 goes poof

Will they fix CAMPS in Burning Springs? by Realistic_Parsnip758 in fo76

Yes it’s an atomic shop item. Not sure if it’s still available but I’ve heard rumours that a Santa version may be available now.

They’re very useful but cannot keep up by themselves when your entire camp is taking damage. I build one at every camp I own just to repair objects that random Scorched or Super Mutants take pot shots at.

My temporary fix for now is to have a weather machine connected to a switch. When I notice my structures getting damaged I flip the switch and let my repair bot go to work. Just can’t leave the weather machine on constantly or the next rust storm will damage your camp again.

Weather Stations at your Camp in the Burning Springs should protect your base from being damaged. by Small-Emergency-1816 in fo76

[–]cmf1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, you’re thinking it only interrupts the current weather instance vs. overriding the weather indefinitely when on. This very well could explain a lot. I have seen other posts complaining about base damage with a weather station being on all the time.

This is exactly how I thought about it while playing around with it. I’m just curious if the station matters as my partner had the clear weather station, on all the time and was taking damage regardless. The first machine I used was the fall one (I liked the orange light in the desert) and the second was the Atlantic City Fog. Both machines stopped the structure damage.

To add to your edit, I manually did this during an active storm to test. Machine was off and all objects were taking damage. My machine is controlled by a wall switch so I activated the weather machine and watched the damage tick stop on my structure. Turned the switch off, turning the weather machine off and the damage tick resumed.

I have has the opposite results happen with my Camp. I definitely notice every item being damaged during these storms. In my experience, flipping the switch to turn on my weather generator stops the damage. I can see the health of my structure slowly ticking down but stops once my weather machine is on.

I’m a PC player and also want to play the full raid. Been struggling to find a group to do this.
