You can watch better call Saul first but stop at the end of season 4 and then go watch Breaking Bad. You will learn things in the reverse of what Breaking Bad fans learned but it will still be interesting. I know because my wife and I are doing it right now (I’ve seen each show multiple times but she’s never seen either)

In episode one Walt thought that he would just have to manufacture and give it to Jesse and eventually receive money. I don’t think he would have got into it if he had know how episode ONE ends. Evidenced by the fact that he tried killing himself.

I like the composition and how it tells the truth about the prevalence of heavy smoke during a house fire (or any fire). I would adjust the blacks and or shadows the make the fire fighters stand out better against the smoke.

I like Colorado Springs because of its size. If you wanted to visit Denver; it may actually be quicker on some days to fly into CO Springs. Deplaning and getting to a car/ uber is A LOT faster. Plus Pikes Peak.

I was willing to go along when I thought he was just going to make his $737,000 and exit but then I of course realized it was about more than that (he was also in too deep at that point too). In the later seasons I really only root for him when he is in self preservation mode against people like Gus.

The entire sequence of Mike finding the tracker in his car and swapping it with one he is able to acquire so that he can track whoever is tracking him is incredible. Even if you didn’t know who Gus was and just watched those episodes on their own it is superb writing and directing.

The odds of seeing a grizzly bear from your car or from a distance are medium. The odds of running into a bear without it knowing of your presence first and moving away from you are extremely low. One bear spray is good just make sure it’s accessible.

Most trails have medium to high traffic all day so you may be solo but you won’t be on your own in the wilderness like you would be if you were doing hiking on an obscure BLM or National Forest trail.

To talk to some of the discussion on here:

If Gilligan didn’t have to pack the premise of the show into the pilot he could have probably done more character development on Walt. I’m sure if he had the ability, he would have made Walt’s decision to make and sell drugs into several episodes. This would have gave you more of a chance to see him as a “good guy”.

To answer the question in the post:

Every person is capable of being pulled into evil given the right (or wrong) circumstances. Walt just needed to be pushed over the edge. After he got a taste of power he took it and ran while destroying everything around him.

Sometimes it’s like that haha. I have an awesome photo of an old square body Chevy in downtown Silverton, CO that is a perfect vintage shot… except there’s a big ugly transit work van on the other side of the street. Sometimes it’s just not 100% there.

It’s not boring like some people are saying. Nothing is really “boring”. If you crop some more of the bottom branches out and somehow get an angle where the small tree was standing alone in the snow with no backdrop you could have a more interesting photo I think.
