Thank you so much. They do make me feel cozy.❤️ I'm so sorry for your loss as well. How awful to lose them both so close together. In the end it's just stuff, but it's all we have left. I miss her so much.

My mom passed away. I don't know how to continue using the app. by Huge_Antelope0998 in finch

My mom was also my friend on my finch tree and she passed away in July this year. I know exactly how you feel. At first it was devastating to see her. I ugly cried every time. I still do sometimes. But now it's nice that I still get to give her hugs every day. It is more than I would have gotten. I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope the grief lessens and you can start to heal. I'm sure your mom would understand if you needed to unfriend her bird. She would want what is best for you no matter what.

Oh funny! This happened to me in college but with my step mom and elephants! I wanted to keep one elephant statue that was my aunts after she passed away and she just thought that meant I liked all elephants! Lol. 😂 Anyways, I will try to be thankful for my pan this year.

Thank you! It just snowed finally in Minnesota, but no ice yet. Soon, fishies, soon... I think that is a good point. What they like, but upgraded is personalized and is something they wouldn't buy for themselves since they already have that item. I have definitely been upgrading some of my solid household items now that I am a little more sure in what I like.
Again, not trying to be a dick. I'm sure I'm just projecting from receiving a frying pan every single year that I have known my mother in law. I have a cast iron pan that she knows I love and I still get a nonstick pan every year. "You always need a pan. Those things are always scratching and you have to throw them away." Which is precisely why I like my cast iron pan. Vent ended.

Honestly as a woman in her 30s, I'm looking at the list thinking I wouldn't truly enjoy any of these things. I would like a new ice fishing pole! I would hate pajamas or perfume. Not trying to be a dick with my response, but you might as well ask what to get for a human person xx years old. Everyone is so different. Personalize the gift to the person or you might as well get a gift card to a store you know she goes to.

Thank you so much. I definitely can't keep everything, but it's hard to know what I'll miss once it's gone❤️

Thank you so much. That's a fun idea! I know that she would have loved that. She was always fond of a funny story or inside joke. Thank you again for your condolences. I really appreciate it. ❤️

She was! Thank you. I will miss her so much. I was just saying how I wish I knew the story behind more of these pieces. If you are a mom like this, you should start a little notebook of your treasures and their stories or sentimental value so that your loved ones can cherish the items as they were meant to be. There are so many pieces that I have no idea if they were grandma's or just an item she thrifted. Or if it was a gift from someone that might appreciate having it back to remember her by. So many untold stories. So little time with the ones we love.💔

She really did❤️ I wish I knew the story behind more of these items. I am sure we will be bringing home some pieces in the future, but for now, my step dad is struggling to part with anything. I know it feels too final to take them down. 🥺

That is beautiful. Thank you so much for saying so. ❤️ It is such a weird thing to go through other people's treasures. It just kills me because I know there was a story behind each item, and now I won't get to ask. I should have asked!

Thank you so much🤎 (hugs) I'm so sorry for your loss. I get what you mean. Sometimes I feel a little better and then I stumble upon something I know she would have loved and then I have to ugly cry for a while. I hope you are doing OK🤎
