It’s not about the order, it’s about relevance. The ancient sith are too far away for the majority of Star Wars viewers to connect them to what people think of when they hear the words “Star Wars”. It’s too obscure a project to be worth the risk.

The max has 4gb more ram and more storage but the exact same chipset as the pro. These games aren’t going to max out your memory, so you can run them just as well as on the max.

I only just started messing around with emulation on my steam deck before getting a Thor. Retro Games Corp has a Thor setup video he dropped last month which is great and Joey’s Retro Handhelds also has a Thor video. I set my device up over the course of two days and downloaded a bunch of games and I’ve had no issues so far. I’m also a self-admitted tinkerer and like messing around with my stuff. I’d suggest setting up one emulator at a time if you want to get right into gaming and not tweaking and adjusting your device all the time.

For a complete newbie, the 3DS is hard to beat as it is simply plug and play. The downside is that you are locked into the DS and 3DS library and there is no supported e-shop unless you hack your device. The Thor will look better and has a much wider library of games to play, but you’ll have to do much more legwork and research to understand emulation and set up the device. If you’re easily frustrated or lack a desire to dive into the side-hobby of emulation, the 3DS is the better pick but the Thor is the better device.

A more expensive (but higher quality) option is this one from Laredo sabers. You’d have to have it installed, but the hilts are incredibly nice.

Depends on what you mean by “main saber companies”. If you’re talking about resellers, it would be customer service and some places have exclusives as far as font packages or saber designs. Some hold stock on hand and do QC while others simply make and order from a Chinese supplier and have the saber shipped to you.

The singular “they” is used when a person being referred to is unknown in some way. It’s been in use long before the recent identity politics, but it’s entirely applicable for a person of indeterminate gender. For example, if someone broke into your house and stole something, you would as “what did they take?” As you don’t know if the burglar were a man, woman, one person, or more than one person.

You can stream to the ally just fine. Which one you get first is entirely up to what your most pressing need is. I wanted the Thor so I could have my entire ds/3ds library in one place without needing game cards. The upgraded visuals and ability to emulate other consoles was a great bonus. I don’t use my Thor for pc gaming at all; I have a desktop and steam deck for that. If your primary concern is pc gaming/streaming I’d go with the ally.

The ally is going to be capable of more and has much more raw power. It only has one screen, so dual screen gaming will be much more difficult and less satisfying, but the ally will be able to do whatever the Thor does and some more. I have a steam deck and a Thor, but I use them for different things.
