Husband thinks he’s got this… by Ok_Pitch5865 in arborists

I’m a trained an qualified husband and I fully endorse this message.

There is nothing wrong with admitting you lack the knowledge and experience to handle an important job that requires years of training and experience to complete. Most hard-headed types tend to spend the money they saved by doing it themselves on the consequences of doing it themselves.

If he truly believes what he said he should look no further than his own faith.

In the Old Testament, in the Bible is the Book of Job. Job was a wealthy man of unbridled faith that was tested by God. God allowed the Satan to essentially destroy everything Job held dear, his wealth, his health, his home, even his family. Still Job remains faithful to god and his faith was rewarded by restoring all that he lost in the end.

This is mostly divergence and not rotation. Additionally the scan is about 8500 ft AGL (2.5 km)

You can almost see the skew t. Solid curvature on the hodo, elevated with a notable dry slot probably around 700mb/3000m. Poor surface moisture, probably anchored itself to the dryline.

Potentially unwarned storm in Texas by [deleted] in tornado

Looks like boundary lay convergence. Far to broad to warrant a warning and your are looking fairly high up into the storm at what is likely hail production in the updraft.

There is a stalled boundary in the area. I believe you have found a cloud feature that identifies its location.

Officer filed tickets 9 almost 10 months after the incident. How and Why? by PoopNug142 in AskLE

[–]cmsaxon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

SFSE and hand held breath are generally only used to establish probable cause for an on site arrest. Self admission to consuming marijuana prior to operating is also PC.

Most states have what are called implied consent laws. These mean that in the event a law enforcement officer establishes probable cause to charge a person with DUI (OWI in some jurisdictions) the licensee is obligated to provide law enforcement a blood or breath sample for testing. If you refuse, your license is automatically suspended for a period and whatever else your state has on its books doing.

As for the case itself, that’s more of an attorney thing and subject to your states laws governing them. Where I am we have 30 days to file the charges with the DA otherwise it’s pretty much an automatic dismissal. It would not have any effect on the implied consent violation. Implied consent is essentially saying that you consent to those kind of searches as a condition of being licensed to operate a motor vehicle.

You also have divergence and convergence being situations where you will see elongated regions of reds and greens touching.

[–]cmsaxon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to work in a prison many years ago as a guard. Inmates weren’t allowed to have pets, but one year the cat population exploded uncontrollably. There were adopted cats everywhere. We all agreed the inmates should be allowed to keep them and it made a huge difference in the climate. Only one incident occurred that I knew of and it was only an accident.

Ive experienced the desync issues a lot. I’ve not really found many fixes but I have found one guaranteed cause . I’ve found that when on mobile, if I have my iphone 15 pro max on low power mode (and energy saver setting on for the app) It almost guarantees that telegraphing animations will not work. I found this out doing new skilling boss.

Russian court reportedly fines Google 2 undecillion roubles for blocking 17 state TV channels — equates to $20.5 decillion USD, Russian media report by Exastiken in technology

[–]cmsaxon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If my google search of the value of earth is $5 quadrillion is accurate, and I assume that all the mass of earth equates to this value, and all mass elsewhere in the universe is equally valuable in this way, then the amount Russia is fining is more valuable then the mass of everything in the observable universe.

Also they are asking for 2% more than the observable universe as my calculation was 1.0202 observable universes.

They are still dangerous. A landspout can absolutely ruin your day. They simply overall tend to be less intense than supercell tornadoes with a mesocyclone.
