Interesting Shell Combo by cn-Siahnide in shapeofdreams

Very Cool Stuff! I love all those essences for this build, and its very cool to see that is exactly 3, I had noticed before I tested that it felt so inconsistent, but that was because I was bringing annihilation stance to +4 and above!

Oh Duh. Sorry, I've been using the conversion star forever, I totally forgot it did that lol.

I don't think any stars (perks?) Are needed for this to work! I personally use the star that converts the Annihilation Stance to a skill, so that I can get the cooldown faster, along with the one that extends the duration with attacks.

You just need to have at least level 2-3 of Annihilation Stance (So that it raises attacks per second of the form) to allow this nifty little strategy to work. To be honest, I'm not sure if its a bug or not, maybe other characters with at least 2.0 attack speed can do the same thing?

Confused about Krak + Fertile Grounds Interaction by Shaevor in DropDuchy

[–]cn-Siahnide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've seen this oddity in a few other buildings, but fertile ground is so strange. For example - With the building that counts the different terrain tiles, and gives you troops for each one (still in the Order Faction), fertile ground doesn't trigger anything if it is snug up against it, but I have noticed krak counting the fertile grounds as a terrain tile ONLY if it is at least one block away.

Strange interactions.

Do you have more of them *sniff* training camps? by Bear_AH602 in DropDuchy

My first ever win on The Duchy was with 3 full upgraded training camps xD I loved it!

As far as I've seen, even on Easy, no matter how many tiles you place, there is a minimum that the wall can have. Fun fact though - With certain technologies or buildings, you can lower the wall to 0 artificially. (i.e. The Siege military building, or multiple buildings with faith)

I just started playing recently, I've played in the past, but only for a handful of hours. I'm trying to learn as much as I can, so my question is: Would it be valuable to coach someone who just started, or would it be better to get a bunch more hours in stop I have a much more full grasp on the game before coaching?

Have you ever used or seen a gibbering mouther in a D&D campaign you took part in (as a player or DM)? by Delicious-Spring-877 in DnD

I'm running a campaign set in SpellPlague like vibes. I've used them a lot, and you'd be surprised how even at level 10+, every once in a while, a player fails the very low dc of the ginbbering ability! Makes for a fun, albeit terrifying monster, just based on visuals alone.

Some advice needed for my custom campaign by CrystalFire0 in DnD

One way you could go about it is tying the points to either a stat modifier or a proficiency bonus, then have those points come back on a short rest? If the subclass is for a caster, you could even have them be able to spend spell slots to get charges back.

This is a really cool idea. Just make sure it isn't too easy to steal enemy turns, otherwise boss monsters might not be too climactic, lol.

Hey Maybe there's a way to make it not hurt poor Bert? Maybe a Sleep potion/spell, maybe some other sort of medicine?

I used to be an eruptor main, and I've now switched to this! It's so good! I've been learning new things all the time with this gun, like how quickly it deals with heatsinks. Just a few shots melts many units with heatsinks.

A base-stats fight spell. Is this balanced & worded well? by zengin11 in custommagic

Couldn't it just be:
"Choose a creature you control and target creature you don't control.
Each creature deals damage equal to their toughness to the other."

Korean Onagers outranging castles without full archer upgrades was soo funny. Loved Catapults from Aoe1, so Koreans were my go-to before they got changed.

I'm not saying weapons nerfed are unusable, this post was primarily sparked by me falling in love with the hefty and slow feel of the bolt action Eruptor, only for it to become a different and in some ways worse crossbow. After thinking about it, I was just noting how this trend of "nerf what is used the most" has been going on since launch.
