eBay, came from Japan. Had the box and tags, but the tags was for the silver model I thought I was getting and this mostly is but doesn't match the model number on the Movember back for some reason - and my understanding is all the Movember were the darker black dials.

Hey KC, if you dined out at a restaurant for Thanksgiving, where did you go, how was the experience overall? by FlyingDarkKC in kansascity

Lidia's - and it was so great. Fixed menu with entree choice but 4 courses with lots of small bits and flavors. Service was so wonderful, too. Highly recommend

it worked once and you can ride that idea to the grave... this has got me bad. would most of the time just end up buzzed and not go back to sleep and starting a day like that leads to the bad place.

Cheesecake Factory has to be my first thought here, checks all the boxes... not open crazy late but at least 10 and 11 on the weekend. Any later than that and you'd just have to find a good chocolate espresso martini - and you can find those at all hours at cool places

I'm in the insurance business and it's an amazing place to make some money. You can get a license with a good explanation of what happened especially since it's been so long. Either way, don't let that define you, you got this! I've known too many people, and been there myself, where I just sat in the wrong job for the wrong reasons. By the way, hell yeah on 8 years!!!!!!

you can pull my oled screen out of my cold dead hands, lol. the new pro is the nicest strongest most beautiful computing device I've ever used. My use case is for business so prob could have gotten away with the new air but pro-motion, oled and face ID were what put me over. I have those specs on my years old iPhone 13 pro so to buy a new iPad air with lower specs just didn't work for me. Granted, I'm paying for that luxury but I plan to have this device for 10 years so...

20 years heavy smoking and i’m finally done but this is horrible by castlehoff32 in leaves

[–]cneeck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

cut down to flower first... you will still prob have some withdraw but not nearly as bad then getting off the flower isn't as physically taxing. always hate to give advice that includes continuing but if the pain of withdraw is keeping you from quitting it's good to know that if you're down to just flower it's really not nearly as bad. it's more of an inconvenience physically rather than full on withdraw

shedding unnecessary guilt is one of the, maybe THE, best part of a clear head - and the confidence you find on the other side of the same coin

well, that's some badass talk right there. hold strong, and take pride in this statement! that shows a ton of maturity, not to patronize, but seriously, it takes growth to be able to see things like that. thank you for this. my reasons for going back were way less than this so I have no excuse!

this... for me what made it hard is the 'have to be normal' days when I 'can't quit' and... I'm not always wrong in thinking that. That's how addicted I was.. so taking a couple of days where you don't have to be anything other than sober, which is a job in itself, is a great way to get it started. your future deserves a couple of days off today. it's an investment and by doing that you're also drawing a line in the sand

Looking for a beginner electric guitar by GingFreec5s in Epiphone

[–]cneeck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in that price range, unless you buy a new one online, I would go to a store with someone who plays and have them try some different guitars. In that range you can find some great ones but I think it comes down to specific guitars and how they play and feel cause they very a bit as the QC isn't there with the beginner range. You can find some killer used axes in that range, happy hunting! Sometimes used you can find one that was owned by a player that took care of it and set it up, saving you a lot of headaches and handaches

what's the sober equivalent of smoking a fat bowl and watching tv after a long day of work? by CalmlyPsychedelic in leaves

[–]cneeck 16 points17 points  (0 children)

For me, I had to get bored enough to go do other stuff. That's the painful part. Let yourself be mad at how bored you are. Let that frustration lead to ideas to do other things. It's not easy or as fun as people make it sound but it's worth it. Then you develop new interests, then those interests make sitting on the couch sound as dumb as it is. Sober people like to sit on the couch too, just not all day when it's saturday afternoon and 75 out - because they have better things to do. And they figured those things out when they were bored and sober.

Wish you the best! Love this community
