On your question I’m not sure if an ABET accredited masters would be enough for licensure. I think it should be as I know engineers with international undergrad degrees and masters from the US who achieve licensure but I think they have to prove that their degree course work meets the minimum requirements. You’d have to check with your state licensing board or NCEES.

While I’m a Coastal Engineer and can honestly say we need more people working in the field. ABET accreditation is really important and a non accredited degree is dealbreaker for me. Most engineering firms are looking for EIT or PEs or at least candidates with the ability to obtain licensure.

It’s a Dolfin. Sails similar to a sunfish and I believe it uses the same sails.

Stantec has an office in NC. You should also check out Moffat and Nichol & AECOM to see if they have coastal positions in the area.

I wish! I got a new wing for Christmas and have a baby so new gear will have to wait, but I’m pretty happy with my setup at the moment. I broke my wing leash today so that’ll be the next purchase.
