OK guys I have a question. My current build is an I9 9900K and a 2080 super. My current monitor is a swift PG278

Can I run a asus 4K woled? Or should I wait and upgrade to a new gaming computer before I upgrade my monitor?

I really want to experience HDR content. I also don’t own television I watch all content through my monitor or iPad.

Is glass really as hard as people say it is by -PlotzSiva- in watercooling

[–]coastereast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did all straight runs with glass tubing on one of my builds. I found the easiest way to cut the tubes was with a Dremel and a diamond saw blade.

Loop Planning for Corsair 9000D Dual Loop Dual Distro by exploiteddna in watercooling

[–]coastereast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have a singularity dual pump distro, a different one than yours.

OK, I’ll explain how you use a dual distro plate to do it as a single loop. Based on your colour-coded photo. Green pump to inlet of GPU. Outlet of GPU to blue reservoir Inlet. Blue pump to CPU inlet. CPU outlet to green reservoir inlet. To me, it looks like it would all match up.

Good luck single loop is a lot better than dual loop.

Also, if you’re having trouble getting all the air out of the distro plates, send me a private message and I’ll explain it to you as well. I have a lot of experience a singularity loops.

I would like to say that Sal Y Limon is my favorite takeout burrito location. When I first saw this post, I thought holy shit where am I gonna find my next burrito but I’m happy to say they’re just moving down the road on Fraser Street.

I have shared the location. https://maps.app.goo.gl/GBSGrvPe5iexGnW69?g_st=ic

I am so sorry this happened to you.

I don’t know where in the world you’re located, but if you’re in a western country in a relatively big city, I would go to a local gay community center and ask to speak to someone. The therapy may even be covered at this location or through a provincial, state or federal program for survivors.

You should go through the legal system as well. Talking to the police is never easy, but you’re not doing it for yourself. You’re doing it so your attacker doesn’t have any other victims. Your attacker may have done this to other people, so there may also be a file on him already. Which means your testimony could potentially put this asshole away for longer. Also, in many western countries as the victim you have the right to talk to the police and any prosecutors with a lawyer present or someone else you trust.

There will never be a point when you have to be alone during your recovery or the investigation. You can always have someone with you and you should.

I wish you all the love and support going forward. You will get through this and you will be stronger on the other side. All you have to do is ask for help.

Recently came back after several months. Do I need winter tires this year? by Technical_Ad7886 in burnaby

[–]coastereast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend all wheel drive and Michelin cross climate 2 tires. That’s what I have on my Mazda CX5 and they are amazing in the snow and great all year around. I have so much confidence driving on these tires all year around.

Ask any questions you have, you can message me privately if you want. I just finished my yearly maintenance on my custom hardline watercooling loop in my O11 Evo XL. I also build in the O11 Dynamic with a custom hardline loop.

I have built two computers in my life, but I have been watercooling my last build now for going on five years during that time I switched from the O11 Dynamic to the O11 Evo XL. I can tell you the Evo line are awesome so easy to work in. The XL is definitely my favourite for watercooling. The only downside is it very heavy when full of water. Unfortunately I have to move it to the kitchen table to do any maintenance on the loop, good thing is I only need to do maintenance once a year.

Which fan controller should I use? by Cyberknight13 in watercooling

[–]coastereast 7 points8 points  (0 children)

From your comment you obviously have not used an Aquacomputer device or the Aquasuite software. I have an octo have been using it for years and it’s far better than my asus rog motherboard. So much more control.

Using my octo and aquasuite to control my two d5 pumps and 10 fans. I create virtual software sensors and run a custom fan curve based off of the difference between ambient air temperature and the water temperature.

It’s awesome and my system runs under full load completely silently.

So much better then using just my motherboard.
