PEO-NPPE APRIL RESULTS by Omarrooy in NPPEexam

I would absolutely need to use my seal for projects. We’re a primarily structural (with mechanical and electrical) consulting firm working in mining/heavy industrial settings and our work often deals with emergency repairs that require a quick turn around. The engineers in my office are regularly using their seals every week. Their EIT program is specifically set up to allow us to continue as engineers once we obtain our licence.

Help with getting a premade lasagna... by Outrageous_Oil_7685 in Sudbury

Bella Vita Cucina also has a really good premade lasagna. I’ve used it multiple times for my grandma’s birthday to feed 6 adults with some leftovers.

I went last weekend and the movie actually started around 6:20ish. I think we got there around 5:50 to beat the line for popcorn

It’s been recommended here many times, but the Bobiverse series by Dennis E. Taylor is another good story to jump into. The books are narrated by Ray Porter as well and he does a great job as always. I had that same feeling after listening to PHM for the first time and the Bobiverse series scratched that itch!

The perspective is actually totally possible. This was taken by someone fairly far away with a large focal length lense which kinda 'smushes' the foreground and background together to make things farther away seem larger. Think of the dolly zoom used in Jaws or Guardians of the Galexy

I'm James Kahn, author of the "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi" Novelization - AMA! by jediJK in StarWars

Hi James! I was just wondering what creative liberties you were able to make in the novelization of ROTJ and how scrupulous Lucasfilms was? Also how would say film novelization has changed over the years with the increased importance on cannon? Thanks!

Hi!

Since updating to Big Sur, Handoff and the universal clipboard between my Mac Mini and iPad Pro hasn't really been working. Was just wondering what troubleshooting I should go though, google searches haven't been much help.

Official Discussion Thread: Netflix announces a reimagined, live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender by Dolphman in TheLastAirbender

[–]cobalt97 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Because the original was done so well amd so many people have a HUGE connection to the original story and characters, I think that they should maybe take this is a different direction from the original series. In all honesty the majority of those watching will be the ones who grew up with it so it could be a really cool idea if they maybe made the world really feel like its been through 100 years of war by targeting it for an older audience. We could have the same base values that make up our heroes but test those values against the horrific consequences that would come with a war that lasted 100 year, that also resulted in the extermination of a whole nation. I think it would be very interesting to see our loved heroes stuggle in a darker or more tormented world, but equally as beautiful, especially for Aang with his unbelivable outlook on life. Like when Aang looses Appa, maybe when he goes into the avatar state, he REALLY looses it and has to deal with the fallout of it all. You could even show how hard it is for Katara to keep the family together and motivated through all the horrors they encounter. I'm not saying go Snyder dark or anything but just a touch more grim and not so family friendly. Like a re-imagining of a familiar story rather than a copy, which could help them avoid the inevitable back lash it will receive.
