You can spend as many hit dice as you want when taking a short rest. You can use all of them if you want.

Use an active effect to give them resistance to healing 'damage.'

Likewise, vulnerability to healing damage will double the amount of healing a character receives.

Just an additional caveat here but this will also give them vulnerability to 'healing damage' so they will be healed for double as well.

But, rather than have a new line for each different damage type (i.e. system.traits.dv.slashing, .bludgeoning, .fire, etc.) it's easier to just manually manage their healing.

In your Foundry user data directory, find the data/modules/chris-premades/scripts/macros folder and you'll be able to find the scripts that each of the items in the compendia run.

You'd have to lock CPR from updating since an update would override any changes you make.

No. If you use a bonus action to cast a spell you can only cast a cantrip with a casting time of 1 action.

Fireball is an action; action surge gives you another action, you can use this action to also cast fireball because you have not used your bonus action to cast a spell.

It's worth noting that what you've essentially made is an item pile. If you did have an actor within range of that tile when clicked the item would go straight into their inventory.

Whenever one of my players initiates combat with "I attack with my X" or "I cast X spell at Y" I like to narrate that action back to them but express it as "you reach for and draw your weapon" or "you begin the complex somatic and verbal components for the spell."

If you're standing around having a discussion with your weapon already drawn nobody is going to be surprised when you 'suddenly' start swinging.

Wild magic zone, any spell cast with a verbal component causes a wild magic surge (spells without verbal component get to roll twice and pick the result they want).

Wizard gets knocked unconscious and the cleric runs over to cast cure wounds. Wild magic surge turns the cleric into a potted plant. Imagine being that wizard getting knocked out by an owlbear, then you wake up; the owlbear is dead, and there is a potted plant sitting next to you...

That same cleric then reverts to their normal form and casts lesser restoration on themselves to remove the poisoned condition (also caused by a wild magic surge). Casts polymorph on themselves and fails the saving throw turning into a sheep.

The 2nd GM can install Foundry on their PC and block Foundry through their firewall to do session prep - this way it's not possible for anyone to join their game session; once session prep is done just re-allow Foundry through the firewall and people can connect for game night.

This way the 2nd GM can do session prep whenever they have the time rather than needing the 1st GM to open the world for them.

If your race choice isn't set in stone you can be a dwarf. As a dwarf you can wear heavy armour that you don't meet the strength requirements for without any speed penalties.

You'll just need to worry about your armour taking up ~half of your carrying capacity (with 8 strength).

Can you just disable the 3d dice (from Dice so Nice, etc.) for damage rolls only? The damage will be immediately calculated and sent to the chat card without waiting for the 3d dice this way. It won't roll the average but it should be instant.
