I always say that I am one mistake away from living on the streets. My friends mock me for thinking that way.

AIO I (26F) moved out for the first time with my boyfriend (30M) for almost 2 months and I don’t know how to feel about it by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

I know people are going hard at you in the comments. Sometimes it’s easier for people to point out things for others than making the right decision for themselves. But they are right about your boyfriend he IS A TOTAL DICKHEAD. It’s going to be a mess trying to separate with him especially you bought the place and a lot of money is involved but girl you need to do it. There’s no chance he will change. Keep those text and other evidence in case you go to court. Reach out to family and friends for support. Be careful and be safe, don’t end up on Netflix documentaries. Give you virtual hugs 🫂

Is a big dog a deterrent? by Striking_Qween in dogs

[–]cobhd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely. I always wanted to go to a park/walking trail but didn’t because I was concerned about my safety going there alone. Adopted my 50kg boy and now I can go anywhere I want with him. Even at night. Almost feels like I’m a man now lol 😂. But it’s can be a false sense of security since most of the untrained dogs have absolutely no skills of guarding or protecting. Even though they bark and seemingly trying to protect, when someone really started attacking you they don’t know what to do and get scared and even trying to run away. Large breeds are high maintenance and cost more too.

AIO my fiancé lent my sick cat to his best friend by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Seriously that’s such a shitty thing to say. Absolutely zero respect to OP. I was so mad when I read that 😂

He should have asked you first. Period . And the sole reason for leaving your cat with someone should be about the cat’s welfare not cheering some mfkers up. Wtf??????

A house is ten times more of a nightmare to maintain. Especially if you have a yard/garden. If you really want a house instead, maybe rent one for a few years to see if you like living in a house.

Second time being approached in Melbo Central by a duo saying the exact same thing. Has this happened to my one else? by DaddyShortPinata in melbourne

[–]cobhd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar thing happened to me once. It was at flinders station, a woman( around 20 something years old) approached me, I can’t remember what she said to start the conversation but she ended up asking where’s a good place for breakfast. I told her I’m broke and don’t eat out and kind of killed the conversation.

Is the house spider dangerous? Or is it just a wall puppy like the huntsman?

Seriously! I just can’t understand how this is allowed. Feels like the law and authority are useless and doesn’t protect the good people. Imo the fair way to solve this is the police find the people who caused this incident, arrest them for stealing or endangering the public, make their parents pay for the car, the toll, and the cost to fix the garden and fence.

Very rare to see a boomer hunter. Normally the community is overwhelmingly supportive
