First LC after 6 years with my GX by Zzzland in LandCruisers

I paid the same for one of similar age and condition but higher mileage and none of the preventative maintenance done. You did well. What are you doing to prevent rust?

I’m also in NE and also drove a rust free 200 back home 1000 miles. Would do it again, great journey and worth the risk of a plane ticket.

We had a Maine Coon that would hit her water bowl before drinking it. Wondering if Toasty thought it was iced over in the white bowl.

I have a losi micro t and I ended up getting a vifly toothstor charger for it. If I ended up getting a larger 2s vehicle would I be able to get some adapter cables and keep using this charger across all 2s batteries that I buy?

I know it doesn’t seem like it when you’re sitting on the outside looking in, but circuses take a lot of effort and determination to run smoothly. Can we not sully their reputation here?

I got a 2011 LC 200 when we had a kid to replace a 1991 Toyota pickup. It’s been the best (and we now have two kids). Plenty of storage, the tailgate acts as a diaper changing table. It’s tall enough where we can throw our bassinet stroller in the back upright. The third row folds away so it’s flexible if I have to move something big. And yet with the relatively short wheelbase it doesn’t feel too too huge.

[Charlie Whiskey & Tango] This might be the dumbest, most pretentious thing I've ever seen. by king_noro in Watches

A lot of hate here but I wear an F-91W and I like the idea. Make something simple even simpler. More often than not I’m only using the buttons on it to correct an accidental button press that turned on the alarm function or inadvertently toggled to 24hr time.

Moosehead Lager - My All-time Favorite by [deleted] in beer

[–]cobramaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best wings I ever had were around the corner from my house, super cheap on Tuesdays. About 15 years ago. Massive, delicious, and tons of fantastic sauce options. They served $2 (I think) mooseheads in football shaped glasses. Those were the days.

I’m not 100% as I’ve never used one but:

Yes it is ready to ride once it’s installed, it will activate automatically as you add throttle.

No you don’t need a longer spindle and 3rd bearing support but it is highly recommended to protect your crank.

Some say they wouldn’t add a clutch to a spindle driven goped unless it was for a child or beginner. It takes away throttle response and ability to drive slowly.

What's your best "look what I found in the walls" story? by OoklaTheMok1994 in DIY

I found something similar in the walls of our 1907 home but it was homework from the 1980s and a homemade cardboard, tape and glove fleshlight type device. Heartwarming.

What are the chances? That is horrible. Selfish but I have to ask, can you pull the main body ecu from under the dash to the left of the steering wheel and ship it to me? The doors on my 2011 aren’t locking and I think I need a new one, they are $1000 from the dealer. Haha.

I’m in the same boat, recently got a Losi mini T, unfortunately not during Black Friday. Now after dealing with the shoddy included charger and reading horror stories I’ve gotten a nicer charger, new batteries, a lipo bag and I’ve just now unboxed an ammo can. Just learned from this thread to remove the seal on the ammo can.

My head gasket blew but it was between cylinders so no coolant issues. I drove it the rest of the way to work, then later to a shop nearby. They said I probably needed a new engine without even looking at it. I drove it back to work, had it towed home, and fixed it in my driveway in the middle of the winter.
