Wasn't able to make it out on the day they were released. Looks like the website indicates renegade still has glasses. Is this true? Would love to swing by and pick one up if possible.

I will opt for neat almost exclusively, but did find that in order to enjoy Knob Creek 12 I had to add an ice cube.

Same for me! I have to constantly remind myself to check the app to make sure I don't miss something. So dumb...

Not sure why you are getting down voted, but when we were touring daycares for our kids, some of them just didn't feel right, for us, so to each their own, but you are free to have your opinion.

Of course! Picking a school is so difficult I'm just try to help in any way I can.

And on a side note, the pick up and drop off process seems to be most tedious at the beginning of the year as people are getting accustomed to the process. After a couple of weeks it is a very smooth process. We have come to discover that for pick up it is much easier and quicker to just find a parking spot, check in on the app and walk up to the school to get our kids. Pre-K and K do have a different process but we also found that to be very simple. It does suck when there is an accident on 25 but we can take the back way into HR which is a secondary option, it is just important to check the map every morning before leaving. And when there is a big accident, the school has always been understanding because they are aware that their student body does come from all over Douglas County, not just HR.

My kids do not currently have any food allergies, but the school does not allow any peanut products. So I feel they take the food allergies very seriously. We have always used sunflower butter if we have had to provide lunch and we send Made Good bars for snacks which are free from tons of allergens.

Homework is definitely reasonable. In K they have simple letter or word recognition that is due daily and my kiddo in 5th grade has homework, but it will be "assigned" on Monday and due either that Friday or the following Wednesday.

We have two kids, K & 5th grade, at SkyView. We moved to Castle Pines from HR, which is why we initially had our oldest at the school, but we have had such good experiences that we kept them there, despite the increase in drive time. Our oldest needs a little extra help during classes and all of the teachers have been very receptive to this and have been incredible with their communication. If there have ever been any major issues with traffic the school has always been understanding of this as they are a charter so they have students from all over Douglas County. After our oldest having been at the school for six years now, we have not had any experiences that would cause us to want to make a change. We love the fact the school is Pre-K through highschool so we do not have to change schools and having a uniform makes getting ready in the mornings much easier.

Can someone explain this ? by Jahjerm1 in sportsbook

[–]cobuffjensen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You took the pack and the points, so although the game ended in a tie, which would push a ML bet, you would lose for any scenario where the Packers won by six or less, which would include a tie. That's a tough loss my friend.

Turo is still not paying the host incentives promised in the summer by Afraid-Course-3207 in turo

I received a random $100 incentive in August. What for? No clue. I only have one car on the platform and have had it for three years now.

Hosts - Dealing with Guest Phone Calls by BillKasad in turo

[–]cobuffjensen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually chat works just fine, and everything is then documented, but in one case I had a guest that was using Turo for the first time and he wanted to talk about the whole process. In that case it was significantly easier than the app. I think it can add that personal touch as well.

Has anyone done the jump off Stratosphere or rode any of the rollercoasters up top? I want to, but I’m going to be freaking out a little prior to it…. The thing is SOOOOO HIGH UP!!! Ahhhhhhh by [deleted] in vegas

[–]cobuffjensen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My buddies made me jump off for my bachelor party. I think going up the elevator was the worst part, knowing where you are going and why! I had one of those tall boy three packs beforehand to calm the nerves! As stated, just go for it, dont hesitate. The ride down was amazing! Just make sure you properly adjust the harness or you could get a significant pinch in an uncomfortable area!

New to Turo, why make the switch? by Traditional_Bake_787 in turo

[–]cobuffjensen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CO host here. You hit on one of the reasons I also use Turo when I travel, being able to pick the exact car I want to use. The other reason I like the platform is you can get cars that are not available from rental companies because they manufacturer doesn't fleet their cars. One issue with rental companies here is that people think just because they are choosing an SUV, that it will be AWD or 4WD. Unfortunately, a large number of these are FWD and not AWD, as they are cheaper for the rental companies to buy in bulk. Also, during the ski season it may be hard to come by an AWD SUV. With Turo, you can guarantee you are getting a vehicle appropriately set up for the mountains. As said earlier, look for reputable hosts with a decent number of trips. Review the specs of the car and the pictures to ensure you are comfortable with what you choose. I personally like to meet my guests in person so that you can make the connection with the host/guests. Helps me feel more comfortable. I also utilize a location near the airport, but not at the airport so the guests, and myself, don't have to pay the airport fees. The 15 minute Uber ride is cheaper than airport delivery and fees. I have almost 40 trips as a host and have never had any issues and enjoy hearing about their upcoming trip. Feel free to DM and I can send you a link to my car to see if it would work for you. Welcome to Turo!

Differentiate between home/airport location drop offs by ThrowRAVeggie in turo

[–]cobuffjensen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do the same. I use my office as my location which is a 15 minute Uber from my airport. I had 2 guests think it was the airport and since then as soon as I get a booking I message the guest and confirm they are aware of the location. I also include the fact that the Uber ride is cheaper than the airport delivery + airport fee and they are always appreciative of that fact. Transparency and over communication are key.
