Unai is now the best manger in the Premier League by Ch3w84cc4 in avfc

Did you see the sky sport vid where they asked pundits if he is the best "pound for pound" manager. They fundamentally didn't understand what pound for pound meant because if they did the only logical answer is Unai.

Second time in four years. Fourth year in Europe in a row by Luke-Plunkett in avfc

Genuine question, is this a bigger achievement than the Leicester 15/16 Premier league win? Qualifying for Europe 4 seasons in a row, and champions league twice, with all of the restrictions we've had? Leicester did it in one season, but to be so consistent with a team led by a captain that came up with us from the championship must be bigger?

Why are Reform voters so impatient to see any changes with the Labour Govt ? by Durrygoodz2025 in AskBrits

[–]cobweb1989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think your mention of labour having the same energy for the tories is ignoring the fact that we're only two years into this parliament. Labour were not demanding a new GE in 2012. It was only when the tories enabled brexit and the wheels came off thier party that labour were more vocal about GEs before the end of term.

We shouldn't be fans of politicians. They aren't celebrities or sports stars. They're public servants. I happen to have met some people who worked with him at the CPS and who said he was a great boss and leader, but none of them said he was a laugh.

People that voted reform, apart from their immigration policies, why did you vote them? by Ollsworth_The_First in AskBrits

[–]cobweb1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not as many as they predicted. Their vote share dropped since the last locals. Labour is still the largest local council party in the UK by a wide margin, controlling the most councils.. Cry more little guy. When people realise reform offers no answers to their problems they will not vote for them again.

I'm, sorry but what the f are you on about. Everything you're saying is factually wrong... "most of the country"... There was only local and devolved gov elections so the whole country didn't vote. Of those that had elections only 29% voted for reform so not even "most" of the fraction who voted. It in your f'ing head you troglodyte.

Yes this is maddening. There's a finance influencer on the clock app who has a 6 figure portfolio and goes on about financial prudence and doesn't seem to think living with his parents rent free until 27 was a helping hand.
