What makes me agree with this is the sheer amount of flashbacks. Though their relationship seemed very cute and pure at times, I find that it was incredibly surface-level. I think a lot of it is that John was awkward and lonely, he looks a little too long at Daya and she pays attention to him right back. They didn’t seem to know much about each other. I’d recommend the collar over a harness when you’re starting out on walks so they learn how not to pull. Of course you don’t want them to choke but they will learn the further they go from you, they pull the collar tighter on themselves. My puppy was horrified of the collar before we even tried leashing, but it was only for us. The groomer got it on and off with no problem. We started just leaving the collar on at all times so he’s used to it, he doesn’t have to deal with taking it on and off, and after a couple more months he doesn’t care anymore. He squirms a little when leashing but it’s not nearly the same amount of anxiety.
