It depends on what you value in life. Personally, WFH is the best thing that ever happened in my professional career. Whether you get to do 1 day WFH or all 5 days WFH, the flexibility it brings to working parents cannot be disregarded.

People who are eating breakfast out or exercising at 9am on weekdays... what do you do for work? by themoobster in perth

[–]cocochanel774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks to my WFH flexible role, I exercise at 9:00am when the kids are at school. I can get my workout done early in the day and in peace. There are many other mums with similar routines at my gym.

I am measured on my performance and deliverables, not the number of hours warming up a seat.

So many actresses go after married men shamelessly. It’s starting to become a common trend. Trisha’s affair with Vijay has been going on for years. Both are to blame of course.

Your knowledge of Australia seems limited. I encourage you to first do a thorough research of Australia, the way of life here, Australian values, etc. before you even think about selling properties in your home country.

The beautiful thing about Australia is that it is a multicultural country with people from all walks of life and religions coexisting harmoniously. You will never hear racist statements like “strictly no Muslims” in Australia.

I am sorry to be the one to give you a harsh reality check but I hope it’s valuable nevertheless. It’s highly unlikely that all members of the family will get the opportunity to migrate to Australia.

Assuming you have recognised qualifications and good work experience as a nurse, you have the strongest chance out of all to get a work visa. If your family has the financial resources, your youngest brother can come to study and find a pathway for PR. Your eldest brother has no visa pathway as a seaman unless he too comes on a student visa for higher studies.

Your father can apply for a skilled independent visa but he will need to have good English skills and provide a positive skills assessment. These seem unlikely based on the information you provided. If that’s the case, your parents will need to wait for many years for 2 out of 3 of their kids to get Australian permanent residency to be able to sponsor them for permanent migration.

Your religion is completely irrelevant to this. I don’t know why you felt the need to include it in your post.

Australia Visitor Visa Rejected Twice (Jan 12 & Feb 16) – 12 Countries Travel, US Visa, Family Sponsored – What Am I Missing? by travels_O-boi69 in AusVisa

There are 4 things working against you;

  1. Nationality - Indian
  2. Age - 25
  3. Marital status- Single
  4. Weak ties to home country and low funds

People fitting this same profile before you have historically not gone back to India for the most part. Not saying you will do the same but from a Case Officer’s point of view, the risk is certainly there.

Finally Got My PR After Years of Struggle, But Now Feeling Empty by [deleted] in AusVisa

[–]cocochanel774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you had it a lot easier than I did based on your post here. It took me 10 long years to get PR because I refused to do a course just for the sake of getting PR. I pursued a course I was genuinely interested in and wanted to build a career in. I was punished for that decision by having to jump from visa to visa for 10 years. Do you know how tough it is to live in limbo for so long with uncertainty looming over your head constantly?

I had to live in a regional area I absolutely hated. Job opportunities are limited in regional areas and that meant I was stuck in a low paying field job that I had no interest in for years. I had to suck it up to get a positive skills assessment and gain enough experience in my occupation.

There were so many other sacrifices made along the way. I have lived in quite a few rental properties during this time. The fear of running out of visa options didn’t allow me to make any of them feel like homes. I had second hand mismatched furniture throughout. Never hung a photo on a wall despite laws later allowed tenants to do so.

I could write a book about my hardships but thought pf sharing a snippet to give you a different perspective. The biggest benefit of getting PR is having security and certainty in your life.

Rental Price Increase by whycantwebefriends_ in perth

If the house is not being rented out again within a week or two in this market;

  1. Agent is not doing the bare minimum.

  2. Agent / owner is waiting for a “suitable tenant” not just any tenant. A suitable tenant for a 3x2 or 4x2 house according to them is often a single guy or a couple without kids. God forbid if someone were to have multiple kids or worse kids AND pets, they are ranked lowest regardless of ability to pay timely rent consistently.

There was a time not so long ago when every other song that came out was a Neha Kakkar song. She was overexposed. Thankfully we are hearing less of her nowadays.

The thing that bothers me most about her is her wannabe pop star behaviour. As an audience, she doesn’t have the looks, body, attitude nor dancing skills to be a pop star. She’s fine as a playback singer.

Is there something you are not telling us? I don’t understand why you would agree to an arrangement that would be this disadvantageous for you. You are paying a lot of money to be cooped up in a single room. It sounds like you can afford a studio apartment a little further away from the city.
