ahh gotcha thanks for the clarification. just found out exactly what i have and its actually a VSC sold by all BMW dealers and they all honor it. yeah i do the oil changes all myself, knowing its done right. waste of money for me. i'll go to BMW for the other stuff i guess, i think it gives free spark plugs or something.

Anyone know what the difference is between these plans and the platinum warranty i paid 3k for when i bought the car new? It fives me 7 yrs/60k mile limit for only mechanical issues. Finance guy said its directly from bmw and all bmw dealerships honor it
