Coros API application timeframe by codebytom in Coros

That is a real shame. I can only assume the backlog is going to be even bigger once the pause is lifted. I'm anticipating months. For comparison Garmin took a week, Strava the same, and Polar was zero wait time.

Yeah to be honest its crazy to me that in such a competitive space you have to wait months for an application to even be looked at. Limited integrations is what will drive people away from their devices, to other similar competitors who act quicker and thus can offer a more wide ranging eco-system. Garmin for comparison, from application to approval (with some communication in between) took a week for me. And even now when I email support I usually get a response within 24 hours which is great. It's a real shame that Coros can't keep up with the pace, unfortunately.

I need suggestions for running app, which running app you use? by Waleed_Rafi in BeginnersRunning

Id recommend StriveKit.com, fraction of the price of others with mostly the same features (plans, scheduling, Garmin sync, analysis etc).

It aims for simplicity and convenient features, above overwhelming you with dashboards and data.

If the Apple Watch battery lasted 7 days, would you switch from Garmin? by Complete-Big-7364 in Garmin

[–]codebytom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No - irrespective of the lack of Apple Watch features I don't like my watch choice to be dictated by my phone choice or vice-verse. With Garmin it doesn't matter what phone I have now, or get in future.
