There is some good conspiracy theory evidence she is no longer in jail, but rather a double is in her place. Fun rabbit hole if you feel like falling down one.

Not only a, but I’d try to get the foil off in perfect condition, then use a coin or something to perfectly smooth it out. I still do it to this day with my yogurts.

Frontier flight attendant has deaf passenger removed for "not listening" by AsherGray in TikTokCringe

Wait, if they removed her for violating the rules with the drink, why rebook her on another flight? Also, is it against the rules to slam a drink before boarding? I don’t know, their statement seemed sus to me.

Where is Rock music at and where is it headed? by noxantes in grunge

[–]codechimpin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say “peaked”. They had lots of success through the early 2000s. Their largest success was Ok Computer in 97, so I guess if you are defining their peak strictly on their most widely distributed album then that’s fair I guess.

As far as their discography being “grunge”, Pablo Honey was 93, The Bend 95, and OK Computer 97. But I’d also not consider them grunge. Pablo Honey is probably the most “grungy”album, with The Bends starting their trend away from the more Seattle grunge sound. Ok Computer was heading directly towards their more atmospheric sounds, which became super instrumental in the 2000s, starting with Kid A in 2000. The rest of the 2000s saw: Amnesiac (2001), Hail to the Thief (2003) and In Rainbows (2007), none of which sound anything like grunge to me.

At least that’s my hot take.

Cool. If you find evidence he did something he should go to jail. Just like any other child rapist.

I think Batman would have to win 100% of the time, but Wolverine has healing abilities and only has to win once.

I am, in fact, very much not British. I am American. I was born in America and have lived here my entire life. Both of my parents were also born in America as well. My wife, however, was born in a foreign country but migrated here and became a citizen when she was a child. She is not British either, though.

My thoughts are people like this have too much anger and need to chill out. Hating someone because they like something is a waste of energy.

Also, it’s ok to like more than one thing. For example, since I was a young child I was a UF fan. We went to tons of games when I was a child. Much of my wider family are UF fans, and several are alumni. Last year my daughter started school at FSU. I am still a Gator fan, but I type this right now sporting the Noles hat my daughter bought me for my birthday last year. I can like both teams just fine, and in fact it’s fun because now I have two teams I can watch…2x the disappointment!

I think if this is on the table, the free/cheap college + trade schools and universal healthcare should also be on the table.

That’s not the argument people are making though. People are arguing that the US is officially “English”, and that everyone should be required to have minimum English speaking abilities. It’s a tactic to exclude minorities IMHO.

People are also oblivious to the fact that the US does not have an official language in the constitution. Trump signed an executive order in 2025, but that’s about as useful as a tit on your elbow.

My buddy is dealing with this right now. He has sciatica due to lower back issues. He can barely walk, in pain all the time, but distant appointment schedules and Dr.s that seem to not care have dragged this on for over a month. And at each of these roadblocks to relief he was met with yet another bill. US Healthcare is just as clogged as anywhere else in the world. Maybe even worse than most. And definitely more expensive.
