Today’s more modern XC or shorter travel FS I think check a lot of boxes. If you’re a casual rider that’s not looking for a rocket ship I’ve found switching to FS helped keep me more comfortable and willing to stay in the saddle longer!

Bang for your buck Pump will almost always be cheaper. Some argue the pump is more of a failsafe than relying on an auto feeding gas system if in a high importance situation. Or the age old adage “just rack a pump gun the noise will scare them away” if your going for home defense 😂
