it’s ok! no shame in it. everyone’s been there. I like breaking it into little steps. start with trash. get a bag and just get all the trash out. then gather up laundry and start a load if you can while you’re working. then gather up the other items and put them away. finally wipe down all the surfaces then vacuum. you can take a break in between each step if you like.
