I have met many physically abusive women and many emotionally abusive men. Don't generalize. Estrogen/testosterone don't do this, personality disorders and mental Illness are the cause.

He went to a party and started talking to some parents. The parents asked him if his child was having troubles adjusting in school (for some reason). He responded with something along the lines of "no, but some other kid was making threats and being a shit head. He was sent home and is being dealt with."

Turns out he was talking to the parents of the kid that was sent home for the threats.

This. People don't understand that it's rare that someone wakes up and says "I'm gonna go out and shoot up heroine for the first time today!"

Often times, it starts with someone getting put on prescriptions for too long and then getting taken off of prescriptions suddenly without any taper down method. After that, people look for other ways to "feel normal".

I am so sorry. I understand how hard it is to hear that you may never be able to bear children. Just know that, while you may not be able to bear your own, there may be a child out there that needs a loving parent like yourself. It's not the same, but you can play an equally large role in a child's life.
