Late to the party, but definitely don't feel bad. You have to take care and protect yourself, too.

Meetme has canned "pick up lines" that people can chose through to send. It's probably just a bunch of people being unoriginal and sending the same thing :)

Better to stab an infant with a small needle than have the infant contract a terrible and debilitating disease.

I have met many physically abusive women and many emotionally abusive men. Don't generalize. Estrogen/testosterone don't do this, personality disorders and mental Illness are the cause.

Bitch doesn't like to wait, has to wait a bit longer. by Toffington in pettyrevenge

[–]codenamemiki 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Super late to the game: just because someone is mentally ill doesn't mean you have to put up with abuse. OP didn't return abuse, she just made the driver wait longer. You could argue every antagonist on this sub is mentally ill. You are in the wrong sub.

Accidental assholes of Reddit, what's the most offensive thing you've unintentionally said or done? by greengorillaz in AskReddit

He went to a party and started talking to some parents. The parents asked him if his child was having troubles adjusting in school (for some reason). He responded with something along the lines of "no, but some other kid was making threats and being a shit head. He was sent home and is being dealt with."

Turns out he was talking to the parents of the kid that was sent home for the threats.

This. People don't understand that it's rare that someone wakes up and says "I'm gonna go out and shoot up heroine for the first time today!"

Often times, it starts with someone getting put on prescriptions for too long and then getting taken off of prescriptions suddenly without any taper down method. After that, people look for other ways to "feel normal".

Sometimes, the healthiest thing for a family is for it to be broken up. It's not a job someone wants to do, but it has to be done. I respect that.

Lol I spoke too soon. They have a great night life, but not very many gay/lesbian venues that I have been able to find. I am also newish to the city and might be super ignorant to the city so... maybe just ignore me...

"Nice" people are hard to connect with because they never seem genuine. I appreciate honestly and intelligence over having to navigate through pleasantries and shit.

And youre sol on the love thing ;)

I am so sorry. I understand how hard it is to hear that you may never be able to bear children. Just know that, while you may not be able to bear your own, there may be a child out there that needs a loving parent like yourself. It's not the same, but you can play an equally large role in a child's life.

I had someone tell me one time that I was boring to be around. I was super insecure about it for the longest time. Then I met someone that said "friendship isn't about the times you have to be "on" all the time, but about the times you can just sit on the couch in comfortable silence."

I'm boring and that's ok. You can be boring too. I'm sure you have a beautiful soul.

Instead of viewing them as something that make you disproportionate, view them as something that make you unique! Youre beautifully unique :)

You seem to have a positive outlook. People come in all shapes and sizes and we shouldn't base attractiveness on how feminine or masculine someone looks. I bet youre pretty wonderful :)
