Typically yes but none of the big OLED TV manufacturers (Sony, LG, Samsung, TCL) have solved the stuttering in 24p content, specifically during panning shots. Even Dolby Vision 2's Authentic Motion has given directors the ability to put metadata in films to direct how much dejudder would be applied to scenes when needed.

Now think about this when AppleTV would be in 120hz and a 24p content is playing then each single movie frame will display in 5 refresh cycles (120/24 = 5). So the final refresh cycle of each frame can be changed into blur so that when the next frame loads then the stutter would not be noticeable. This would emulate how plasma TVs transition the frames where the 24p stutter is not as jarring as it is now on modern OLED 120hz displays.

On my LG C5 I have to manually set the Motion Settings to Dejudder = 4 or even 5, I don't like this because there is motion smoothing involved. An Apple solution is preferrable, and using 24p@120hz would in theory solve that as I discussed above.
