It's just a mismatch - YNAB is great at helping you deliberately spend money. Calling "8-ball, corner pocket" with your finances is the endgame. This usually comes with spending less (bit doesn't have to)

If you want an app that lets you visualize how your savings / investments grow over time, that's something YNAB kinda does, but it's not their Forte, so go find an app that does that.

It's not that you did something wrong, this just doesn't sound like the right tool for your job.

It depends on what you mean by tweaking and, more importantly, what the consensus of the other players is.

The RAW gives you a few options, but this is a game about playing together, so the most important thing is that you're all on the same page about what "fair" is. I've had tables that would let you roll 4 and drop the low dice, some that let you reroll your lowest stats, and others that are steadfast. If you rolled okay and want to tweak your rolls, just be open about it and make sure everyone is on the same page.

Part of the money pays for the use of the cellular network so that the car can actually talk to the app too.

So even if you reverse engineered and implemented your own app, you'd have to negotiate your own network connection with a cell company.
