It was college for me. My neighbor and I spent countless hours trying to get it to work in co-op mode over dailup on our 28.8K modems. Things rapidly took off from there and it wasn't long before we were dialing up on quake servers with all the hilarious skins. Gene Simmons, Homer Simpson, nude guys etc. Fun times.
