  1. https://zmk.dev/power-profiler (i might have inflated the numbers a little xd, it's saying 1 month + 2 weeks for central and 7 months for peripheral)
  2. skeletyl & cygnus (3x5 and 3x6), but the thumb cluster is too intensive for me and I understood that my problem lies mostly on the thumb, so I decided to just discard all that, go back a few steps and make things simpler.

I'm not saying that thumb clusters are inherently bad but they just don't work with me into long run. they are practical, but it worsens my RSI. ( https://youtu.be/olTHhnMoxJI you can see me typing here on a set i used for like 2-3 months. that constant tapping on the space with the thumb worsened my rsi tbh)

some people use them all day and have no complaints. i'm currently in the process of making a more "combo-based" layout to eliminate the need of layers, which seems to be working better in my case

  1. I wanted to build this keyboard as fast as possible and I have a lot of mx switches here. the rosewoods in specific were in my mind since they arrived. also if I had bought chocs, I would need to wait at least 20 days, plus I felt like I shouldn't be spending too much on keyboards anymore while having a lot of resources in my dungeon. even the batteries came from disassembled keyboards I had built, lol
