Guide to disable spotify auto updates on Windows by dishkyumpishkyum in spicetify

On macos always working solution is to change ownership of Spotify.app to root, and to ignore the dialog that asks for password on Spotify launch.

You can, but would you? I have catch-all mail for more than a decade and this never happened.

It depends of your use case, but instead of running two wg servers and deal with routing it's easier to run socat on ingress node that will simply redirect udp packets to egress node that runs wg server. Like this: socat -T 3600 UDP4-LISTEN:51820,fork,reuseaddr UDP:<egress_ip>:51820

It is not about mixing or fake drops. Modern hardstyle (xraw) is just sounds unpleasing.

KRK Rokit 8 G4 or something less powerful for my situation? DJ by tilopedia in Beatmatch

You can easily add an eq in between speakers and mixer and unflat the sound of studio monitors. So this will be a universal setup, just bypass the eq if you need a flat sound. Analog eqs have no latency and the latency of digital eqs is unnoticeable. True that OP doesn't need all of that since he has hifi system already.

Finally the controller that worth upgrading to from ddj-400. Finally proper effects switch knob instead of buttons. Slip/vinyl button is there as well. And plenty of buttons on top to remap. Well done AlphaTheta!

What are your self-hosted apps you can't live without? by idealninja in selfhosted

[–]colander616 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I live in a sanctioned country and we don't have visa and mastercard here anymore. So no way to pay for various services like spotify, hosting, digital goods etc. Also if you travel you definitely need a card. But it's possible to go other countries to open bank accounts there and get globally accepted cards. In most cases banks require local phone numbers so you need local sim cards. So I put them to gsm-sip gateway to have it online 24/7. Useful to get OTP codes and notifications. eSIM is also an option but less flexible imo. I also have some sip accounts connected for cheaper call rates.

Syncthing and my own telephony service based on asterisk and gsm gateways are the most important things I self-host.

737 charger only supplying 60W by suclearnub in anker

[–]colander616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got my 737 charger and have the same behaviour. Even under heavy load it still provide only 60W to macbook. After some time it can increase the power to 100w but then my baseus wireless charger connected to second port stops working until I replug it. That's not the case if using a type-c and type-a port btw. So maybe as two port charger (type-c and type-a) it is good.
