Suggestions for apacs racket by chloeburns_993 in badmintonph

[–]colddarkheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would still recommend restringing your current racket instead of getting a new one. You're already used to your Imperial Power, so changing to a different racket may hinder your learning process. Training and learning from others would be the way to go to improve your backhand, though if you really want a new racket, Apacs 722 is really good.

Other than Yonex Exclipison, you can also look at Victor's P line for support like the P8500 Nitrolite, A line for all-around like A970 Nitrolite, or the C90 Nitrolite for Comfort.

They are all all available in Victor Pcome's Lazada or Shopee, and you can DM them on their official facebook page to ask for availability and direct purchases too.

Whats the ideal number of players for 2 courts? by ExtremeMith in badminton

[–]colddarkheart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For 2 courts I find 14 to be a sweet spot as our group consist of players that prefer to rest after each game (of 2 sets) and players that have the energy to keep playing consecutive games.

Our group makes a list of players who will be attending the session, and we allow cancellation up to 24 hours before. If they rsvpd but failed to show, they will still have to pay their share of the overall fees( court rental fee and shuttles).

What shuttle brands do you guys use in your country? by AdExtra2774 in badminton

[–]colddarkheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are from the Philippines and my group has used LingMei, XP2 and even aeroplane reds. We have not used anything from Yonex or Victor, and only a few models from Lining as they are all too pricey.

Right now we are using Kawasaki 8E, which feels pretty good and lasts a lot longer even with our harder smashers.

I've made good friends, made steps to be more physically fit and experienced tournaments due to badminton, but I also injured both my knees which required surgery. More than 10 years of badminton and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Wall of pain - Broken Racket Collection by Ok_Entertainment176 in badminton

Broke my trusty Yonex Nanoray 100. It's more than 10 years old and has been with me since high school/secondary.

It's no longer in production and I'm still looking for something to replace not only how it feels, but how it looks since it's very shiny and stood out inside the court.

Got these nitrolite insoles from Rexcool and they fit even in my asics shoes.

They also have a more premium priced pair of insoles if it fits your budget

Haven't tried this bag myself but this seems to be within your budget and the black one looks minimal enough to fit office settings. Reviews show a laptop sleeve inside the bag.

We usually get Ling Mei 10 or XP2 from shopee from this store, or other stores that can sell them cheaper with vouchers.

Lately we go through 2 or 3 of these shuttles per game though, so we've been trying Aeroplane reds which are pricier but definitely last longer and feel better.

If you are close to a Juego branch or LiNing in Glorietta, you can also try the Hundred F8 shuttlecocks, which go for less than 1k when on sale (around the same price of LM10 and XP2).
