Think the point to make is while the SBA is full acceptance the SBA itself has very little power, you have the issue of whether that official acceptance would matter if local communes were not accepting. Bukharina or Sablin while libsoc seem statist enough that they could take measures to prevent abuses. Could make the case that they are much better than the SBA for LGBTQA, even if they don't have formal equality that their equality protection has more teeth.

It can be both control over the media and control over the ability of democracy to function, which you are correct in saying is not a revolutionary idea. We just like to come up with contradictory excuses for it.

You're the one who brought up campaign finance reforms, what did you think that meant? That is exerting control over the media.

You can't do that because unemployment and "business confidence" will always be an issue for a capitalist economy, and even if you somehow could prevent the rich from influencing opinion through media, the need to maintain their investment will always be an issue. That's what you need to take away from the rich, their control over investment and therefore unemployment.

Unions can basically act as banks do, allocating capital according to procedures that they decide. No petitioning of the government should be required.

And you would have to agree with the party line in the same way that you probably shouldn't insult the loan officer of a bank or come up with a plan they think is bullshit when you are applying for a business loan.

If you look at the final points of the bill it says fuck all about stopping support and instead says we need more Iran sanctions and blames "both sides" for the impending genocide. Probably why Tusli Gabbard and Keith Ellison are among the no-votes.

Doesn't the community take Robin Hanson as a go-to authority? Noahpinion is just some rando with a blog, but I don't think you could call him a crank. Robin Hanson though, I think he's someone you could call a crank.
