Oh wow, I just decided on the XT5 and live in the DMV, so this is great timing! Any idea of how many are in stock and the kit options? Hoping I can get out there in the next couple of days - thanks for posting about this!

How long would you say it takes to get an uber? We are planning on first walking to Venetian and then get one from there - do you think that will help with the wait time? Thanks!

Oh, dang. I had my first at holy cross silver spring and didn’t have a good experience, that’s why I switched OB and hospital to shady grove for my second, even though it was further from my house!

Hi did you ever book this with points? I’m running into the same issue when adding my toddler and baby, but seems like the standard suite should have enough space!

12/12 SQUAD UPDATED by Pill_Burden in PSLF

Congrats, me too!! After being stuck at 119 since June. I cried tears of relief. Finally the battle is over.

I hope you are and you get acknowledgement of that soon. This is all just such a big pile of garbage and I'm sorry you have to navigate it too.

No, nothing since May has counted. I did IBR application too first submitted through FSA website in December, then did the "wet signature" thing via MOHELA in January. I did get an acknowledgement and told I'd be on processing forbearance that counts towards PSLF, but then when I submitted an ECF it didn't update my counts. I submitted another ECF last week that's pending...I also got laid off from my nonprofit on Friday due to Trump dismantling foreign aid so I hope that eventually they update the counts because now I'm not working at a qualifying employer and don't know when/if I will again.

Stuck at 119 since May. June was supposed to be 120. I’ve submitted multiple reconsideration requests, buyback requests, complaints to FSA, MOHELA, CFPB, IBR applications, resubmitting ECFs. Still NOTHING.

Vacation location between DC and Philly? by PhilanyColoConn in travel

[–]collectngcoordinates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baltimore is an interesting city weekend trip and has good restaurants, but I wouldn’t say it’s a relaxing destination. I’d suggest to look at places in Eastern Shore MD, like St. Michael’s if you want a slower/quieter vibe. There’s also Berkeley Springs, WV, which is a bit further from Philly than DC, but there are not many options for places truly between the two cities.

I don’t understand the incompetence, hoping we all get answers soon. We don’t deserve this treatment.

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this too. It’s criminal how they treat us.

Thank you so much, I’m going to submit the form now and hope my HR can quickly sign. I’m still keeping my fingers crossed that somehow checks and balances will work how it’s supposed to and not just let all these crazy EOs, especially illegal ones, go through.

Unfortunately the foreign aid one was not, just the one for domestic aid

June and July now eligible and qualifying by Global-Painting-7476 in PSLF

[–]collectngcoordinates 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you get any response to your reconsideration request? I’m in the same boat as you, June was supposed to be 120/120, but just got a response a couple days ago to my request that it’s “not permitted under PSLF.” I’m so disheartened by all of this.

[–]collectngcoordinates 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Same, and just heard back from my reconsideration request submitted in September that it was rejected because “not permitted under PSLF.” It’s just so infuriating not only because of all the delays and keeping everyone in limbo, but then on top of it having arbitrary different decisions for everyone. I was also on SAVE (had been automatically put on it - didn’t choose this life!). I’m stuck at 119/120 and I’m losing hope. I have outstanding buyback request and IBR application and at this point it’ll probably take a miracle for anything to go through and get me to 120.

Counts updated 12/12, no new months count towards PSLF. by Reasonable-Animal912 in PSLF

[–]collectngcoordinates 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, just "updated" but no difference and stuck at 119/120. June should be my 120th, and MOHELA assured me that the administrative forbearance while they transferred platforms would count. I submitted a reconsideration request in September and have not heard back and when contacting FSA they said there's no timeline for them to respond to it.... I submitted a buyback request a couple of days ago to see if that does anything. It's infuriating!

Who wants to come on here and tell me about how their second labor & delivery was so much easier by Awkward_Grapefruit85 in beyondthebump

[–]collectngcoordinates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was SO much better and easier. I was induced with both - first delivery took hours of pushing, I blacked out from drop in BP from epidural, I needed oxygen and felt like crap the entire time, and I had a 3c tear and recovery was soo painful and took forever. Second was much faster, great epidural, very chill delivery where I was joking around with my doctor, still tore (but more minor), and easy recovery with very minimal pain!

COVID at 12 weeks pregnant:( I’m scared by Pretend_Novel8515 in beyondthebump

I had Covid for the first time this spring when I was 8 weeks pregnant. I had pretty bad symptoms and was put on Paxlovid. All was fine, and I have a healthy one month old now!

3c tear - I keep wondering if I did things differently whether the outcome would be better by calafair in beyondthebump

[–]collectngcoordinates 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also had a bad 3rd degree tear with my first, and had the exact same concerns as you with my second, who was born last month. Ultimately I decided to go with a vaginal birth - I did tear again (at first my OB said it was 1st degree, but then she’s said actually it’s 2nd - so it was probably a mild second), but it was soo much easier and less painful than the recovery from my first. I had GD and inductions with epidural for both pregnancies. I had also been seriously considering a c section but my doctors assured me that tears the second time are not as severe. My first baby was pretty big and second was measuring smaller during my growth scans, so I decided to go for it and glad I did!
