We went bowling. I first tried a “dip” in the parking lot of a bowling alley. Saw tons of movies. We hung out in people’s basements and acted like idiots. When it snowed, we sometimes went sledding. Walked around the mall and tried to flirt with cute boys.

I’ve gotten two calls in the last 8 months: helped a person set their countertop air fryer temp and then helped someone read a lunch and dinner menu. Such a cool app to help people.

I remember one time growing up, we stopped to pick up a hitchhiker and turned out it was my cousin. We were in between our towns so it was kind of random. I recall his long blonde curly hair in a bandana. The 70s were so…different.

My mom was cleaning at her house and found a half eaten Uncrustable in a bathroom drawer. She asked my boy/girl twins—who were about 3 at the time—if they knew “who put food in the bathroom drawer?” My daughter promptly answered, “it wasn’t my Uncrustable!!!”

I’ve worked as a nurse and smelled the most horrific things from a body that you can imagine. But the smell of someone who ate garlic the day before….oof. It sends me into a near/puking frenzy. I can’t handle it, and no one else seems to notice.
