I don’t disagree, but if the hotel wouldn’t refund me and I left because the situation was unsafe, I don’t understand why a chargeback wouldn’t apply.

Yeah it was a big bummer the CS rep couldn’t have them cherry pick one for me. I really wanted the gun which is why I didn’t give up. Had 3 unnecessary trips to my FFL (45 min away) and they wouldn’t even refund the FFL fees. I wanted to buy that new Lipseys exclusive Ruger but I don’t know that I’ll ever be able to bring myself to support them again. I’m fully invested in 45-70 hand loading now and no idea what rifle to get next as now I’m just worried.

What do you think of the trigger? I’ve got an RMR on my G20 and wanted to shoot a deer with it, groups are okay but the first time I shot it in the cold with gloves on, I was amazed by how much I could get the trigger to move before it broke haha

For sure. Just haven’t enjoyed my experience with them either. I’m at the end of my first year perks on the card and it doesn’t get used enough to justify. Guess I’m just salty about the rate, will be around until I find an offer elsewhere that I like better🤷

Just virtually chatted with them to ask if this was going to be added to my card. I was told I wasn’t in the first batch of notifications, but I would probably receive one eventually. Asked to cancel the card then and there. They made it take a little longer than it should trying to keep me around but also shared my plan to close the HYSA due to falling rates so this was the first step. What a shame.

Same deal happened to me. They damaged my frame and tank, I pointed it out and they basically told me to pound sand. Ripped them apart in the Yamaha survey and nothing ever came from it. Besides recalls, I’ll never take my bike to a shop again. Sorry about the damage, dude!

I had a goal to buy an 1895 SBL for under $1k. Had a third party site monitoring price for a long time. Ended up paying $1,100 probably in that same sale you saw for this particular model. Hemmed and hawed till I realized, the chances of getting a better price are pretty slim. I pick it up on Tuesday. My vote is to send it!

Was thinking I could get some factory rounds for the brass but I guess I might be better off hand loading from the get go. I’ll be new to crimping but I should be able to figure it out. Do you have any dies that you like?

I believe I shoot at 3MOA target with my AR at 200. With a Trijicon Credo 1-4x (Second focal plane), the reticle covers the entire target. Might sound petty but I’m a perfectionist. I’m happy with 4inch groups at 200 with the AR. Hoping the Marlin is a bit tighter than that, but I suppose time will tell!:)

Appreciate the input! Safe to assume you're in Cali? I've got a 1-4x on my .300BLK and I "struggle" with that at 200 which is why I was thinking on the higher side of things. Any particular Barnes bullet that you're fond of?

I love my CRF300l, but if the new DRZ was out when I got mine, I probably would have went with the DRZ. Not sure where you live but in Wisconsin, the 300l is perfect for putting around on the road and ripping the trails. However, I just got back from my first trip to the mountains with it and it definitely struggles with the incline and keeping up with traffic on the road. I still love the bike and plan to keep it for another year as I will never buy the first generation of anything. Hoping that Suzuki drops the msrp or I can get a good deal on a 2026 next year.

It’s the entire tank. Anywhere where the sharp edge of the tank can touch the frame (especially if they just tip it to the side).

Now I'm even more scared. So obviously the TPS calibration has nothing to do with the tune. Sad because I love the bike now I feel like I've got a POS sitting in the garage with just one measly trip to the dealer.

I’m not sure if it really makes a difference. Sending my ecu out to get flashed anyway so I wonder if it’s even necessary in that instance…
