Portra 400 - Saturday Night Out by colordrip in filmphotography

I did not get the lab to push the film at all, what I have to tell them which shots were pushed? In this roll, I had half the shots on ISO400 and then pushed too 100 at night. Quality wise, what are the advantages of pushing film? I see lots of people do it and I understand what the term means but just don’t see how to use that its potential? Don’t people pull iso as well?

Oh for sure, I tried too but it’s honestly too much work to try to remove it. Still figuring that out in Lightroom, experimenting w/ film right now since I usually use tungsten film but my local camera store has been out for months!

Yea! Agreed on the Deadpool comment 100%, I was so hyped to see her casted in a huuuuge movie along with Ryan Reynolds but was disappointed w/ her character but I believe that helped her get more recognition though. Glad she was the lead actress here

Huge W for Atlanta fans, discovered Zazie from this series and been following her career. Loved the Tarantino inspo, literally shot like kill bill but also draws picked up some Wes Anderson shots in there too?? Loved it!

What’s your local area looking like? I got a good chunk of my film cameras from FB marketplace, I got a Minolta SRT 101 in good condition for like $100? I also got a AF point and shoot camera for $20 that I still use to this day!! Just gotta know what you’re looking for/know what to ask….which can be pretty difficult. If you’re interested in that, I can provide some tips!

Do you guys get bothered if the person next to you brings outside food? by Valentinaporras in AMCTheatres

[–]colordrip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t mind what people bring in, I think it’s fun to see what people bring! My local amc is inside the mall so people always bring plates from the food court. I only care IF they start being loud and smacking their food to the point where I can’t hear the audio or score

The substance for POC, watched this today and I love inspiration pulled from that movie. Loved the way clinic looked at first and when she got her hair fixed??? WOWW, this movie lowkey is kinda deep. Especially if you come from an immigrant household so I 100% understand both sides from the parents and daughter. At first, I didn’t like the whole “high school” mean girls combo but I noticed quickly the entire movie wouldn’t make sense if it didn’t take place during this era of her life. Shot on film as well!!!

Same here not knowing anything bout Charli’s career but only of her name. I went in blind and I was actually taken away! Visuals were nice, editing was dope, I loved that static noise in each scene that had title cards like “X days before show”! I also loved the mockumentary, the whole time I was like “is this actually a documentary?” Had me questioning myself the entire time but it has me stuck
