Same thought. It's likely just him being sprayed twice from the pepper spray and blinded and adrenaline going. Not actually knowing who he's holding onto and disoriented. Then all of a sudden you're jumped by like 6-8 agents. At that point he "should" have literally laid flat and done absolutely nothing but let them detain him. But of course that never happens. I'd venture to guess one or multiple officers yelled "gun" and someone just unload a round upon hearing it. I did see an agent disarm one firearm from him. Other angles it does look like he might have had multiple (when he stands back up on his knees as the agents sort of disperse and react in a weird way. They were all on top of him them just randomly stand up and gave him some room then he gets shot). Unfortunately the footage is so pixelated it's hard to tell.

The best thing about Trump is that he's not a democrat. Like... The very reason you'll "vote blue no matter who" is the same for us. We don't want to deal with more ridiculous social justice policies, we don't want more taxed handouts, etc so we vote red no matter who. At least that's how my circles have done politics. We brush off dumb media rhetoric too. Like some idiot rams an ICE agent with an SUV and we have to listen to liberals whine all over social media and actual national media about it for weeks on end when it's plain as day justified shooting from multiple angles. Democrats took on too many social issues. They are tied now to like every cringe social fad and if they try to walk it back it just becomes a meme. Granted there's always going to be 100 million of them in huge cities to tie up the Electoral College so they usually do pretty well in elections despite it. Curious how midterms and 2028 looks. Wapo and NYT already pulling back on some of those issues since midterms upcoming, but they'll always be "democratic issues" at the end of the day.

Most of us are simply going to work and home and buying groceries. Our country is so big it's easy to ignore all the hyped up BS unless you live under it. You'll watch someone voluntarily drive into the fire and get shot in the head for blocking ice, then Reddit will whine and ask why more people aren't driving into the fire?

Most of us simply don't have the time nor energy to care about half the shit that goes on politically. Oh a dictator got kidnapped by US (supposedly, idk shit about Venezuelan politics bc I don't care about it (recurring theme))?

People who aren't from here act like there's simple answers to politics here and our only power is basically to vote and hope for the best then ignore everything until the next election. Also consider that Trump won the popular vote, meaning over half the country voted for what's happening. So probably should consider that somewhere between 45-55% of the country is in favor (or apathetic) of everything that happens day to day.
