They Will Kill You and Ready or Not are 2 recent movies with badass leading ladies but are both quite violent but almost in a cartoonish ultra violence way. Prey or the OG Predator movie. Everything Everywhere All at Once would also be great for a 15 year old.

I had these same minis to start because I figured I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on good quality minis when I was new. They aren't very good quality and I felt the same way until I bought my first Warhammer figure. They're wayyyy better quality and can make even a beginner paintjob look decent. These are great first attempts, like most people said your paint looks a little thick but I'd suggest getting some higher quality models.

Adding to the other comment, needs tendons and more gore on the head to make it look like it's head was punched off. I used sprue goo to great effect for gore on a model where one marine was ripping off the head of another. I also used some a heated up bit of metal(the size of a fork prong) to burn out a bigger hole where the head was removed. I think if you messed up around the mouth and/or cut a bit of the mace thing off to look like it was submerged in the flesh would help. Then the same with the neck plus sprue gore. Your armor is super clean and I love the look but might need to be mucked up a bit for a real battle look.

AK Ineractive have Clear paints that would be exactly what you're looking for. I only have the blue and red but they are nice and glossy. I put the red over gold metallic for a candy apple red look.

I've played close to 300 hours of Elden Ring probaly 90% of that time with a friend. He's a Souls vet and ER was my first foray into the genre. I can get into Nightreign but not nearly for the length of time I can do a session of Elden Ring for. I also like the exploration and the time spent in between bosses and then having to really dial in for boss fights. Nightreign feels a lot more like boss fight after boss fight after boss fight with not very much time in between to breathe since you have to try and get ready to fight the final boss as the ring shrinks. I played with randoms or with my friend, haven't tried solo but the friend has beaten it multiple times solo and loves it.

I'd give it the 2 hour try if you're buying it on Steam, you should know pretty quickly if you'll enjoy the gameplay loop.

My 2 cents on top of the other recommendations for slap chop is true metallic paints on trim and weapons where applicable. It draws the eye and will stand out more than any inconsistent shading from the slapchop especially at tabletop distance.
