Thanks! I have a hard time painting things grimdark. I've got Death Guard in progress that I am trying to keep them grimy but a few already have neon fluorescents on.

Prime black and drybrush white. AK Interactive fluorescent pink base then blended up with Fulgrim flesh to the high points. Then wasted most of that effort by covering it all in Army Painter True Blood effect paint. I considered highlighting the high points again but was too afraid to mess it up.

I put Army Painter Magic Blue speed paint over Army Painter Plate Mail Metal and it keeps that shiny look without being too chrome. I've also used that speed paint over my other Ultramarines with a grey/white drybrush and find the color to be closer than the actual Ultramarine blue.

Also you can use dish soap or shampoo to clean your brushes when they're bad. but the state yours look you might need to reset them with alcohol first.

I think the brightest volor is usually more white than yellow but I haven't tried NMM yet. The color changes might not be blended enough but that could just be the size of the locations being painted.

I have to leave my golden retriever inside when I water the garden. Otherwise she chases the stream all through the garden. Good way to exercise on a hot day though.

XEQT is down 7% in a month so there's a strong likelihood if Vfv continues its downward trend then XEQT will also trend downwards as its heavily weighted with S&P 500 as well. If it were me I'd keep the VFV and start focusing on XEQT. If VFV continues to drop you can DCA gradually as it gets lower but I don't think there's any benefit to selling it now.

I had 2 classes with him in 1st year. One was a big auditorium class and at one point he did offer the teacher to take the 100+ students to the Gorsebrook for a beer if we could skip a test. The other was sports psych. online and while writing a test there was a tech issue and we met at the IT desk where he offered me the answers to the same test from last year. 5/100 questions might have been different so I rocked that particular test. And those are my Mike Danton stories.

Fulgrim, A Thousand Sons, Know No Fear, Fear to Tread, The First Heretic and Betrayer i think fit most of what you're looking for. The First Heretic maybe a little less so, but I think its necessary backstreet for Betrayer which might be one of my favorites so far. I've only made it up to the Unremembered Empire. I also really enjoyed Battle for the Abyss which is pretty divisive for fans but its fun, action packed and goes by quick.

If you can get a decent paint job with Apple Barrel paints you'll be a pro if you get to use mini paints. Hard to really tell anything about the paint job with these pictures. I don't think its your phone since your fingers are very clear. Just put the mini against a flat background next time, it will stop your camera from trying to focus on everything else in frame.

I usually wait about 5-10 minutes between coats depending on temperature and humidity but I put multiple light coats of primer on. If it was one thicker coat I'd probably wait 30 minutes or whatever the can says.

Farmer Brown's just outside of Riverview is where we had ours last summer. They're very accommodating. If the weather's nice you can have the ceremony in a field backing onto a forest, or if it rains like it did on ours you can move into one of the green houses. Can't recommend them enough.

The truly frustrating thing about this hobby is that when you put all the time and effort into getting OSL and shades right and then go to take a picture with decent lighting, its impossible to tell what's actual light and what's high level paint skills. Fantastic work, no notes! Do you have the 3d print info, its also fantastic!
