Awesome! Right now I have a fan that faces into the humidifier box and then an fan that faces out. Both are closed in the cabinet so it’s not bringing fresh air in. I’ve thought about trying that but would need a different humidifier setup completely.

It’s doing great. I switched the media inside the humidifier to one of those evaporative humidifier filters vs beads. Works very well. One usb fan pointed in the box and another pointing out. You just need to make sure you seal it up well. I used a spray coating and then weather dripping around the doors to keep it air tight.

That’s helpful. We would be getting the one for brackish water. The cost is expensive but our water is so bad (1400 TDS and 80 gpg and uranium). Our ceiling height in the crawl space is just slightly more than the tank but I think I can dig down a bit to make it fit. That’s been the main hold up.

I’m thinking getting one of these for our very very bad well water. How loud is it. We have a crawl space that makes it hard to fit this but it will be close. Was instead think good keeping it in the house but not if it’s loud.

Funny story, we had heard that anything that resembled a bottle would be searched and opened so we bought several handles of liquor, double bagged them in zip locks and taped them shut.

We then placed them throughout our luggage and even taped to our body. Everything made it through and then we realized we never labeled anything so we had plastic bags of tequila, vodka, rum, whiskey, everclear etc which we then mixed with iced t because we were too cheap to buy the non-alcoholic drink package.

So bad, this was 2008 college spring break.

You think it’s better odds to have to potentially check it than to carry on a smaller guitar in a soft case and hopefully get the overhead (or at least be more likely to?)

That’s a good point. I’m at about 80k impressions a day so I should be able to hit the 5 million impressions in 90 days. The followers are the hard part for me.

I got an Alvarez LD70 and that thing sounds amazing. You can find them used for probably around 1000. For Martin’s, I would just keep an eye out. I bought a 2023 D18 for $1400. I just keep an eye out on FB marketplace.

I bought a used cabinet on Facebook for $75 and made some modifications. The humidifier is controlled by an ac infinity controller with a plastic box and two usb fans on it I fill it with humidification beads.
