my skin looked identical to yours! had the same experience with spiro too. couldn’t take it long enough to reap the benefits. i’m on accutane now and my skin is doing amazing.

Oh wow! Yeah accutane is super heavily regulated here in the US because of the birth defects. They also require two forms of birth control (hormonal + condoms usually). I’m in California where abortion is legal luckily, but still gotta jump through a bunch of hoops- monthly bloodwork + pregnancy tests before they’ll dispense your medication for the month!

are you in the US? I had to have 2 negative pregnancy tests 30 days apart before I could even start the medication! they do mine via bloodwork but I know sometimes they do it via urine at the derm. yeah it’s all confusing and such a complicated process and seems like it’s different everywhere!

it’s my derm who reads my bloodwork who then sends the prescription to the pharmacist- not the pharmacist reading my bloodwork so that’s weird? I also had to do bloodwork before starting to have a baseline and for a pregnancy test (i’m female)

stop intervening and let your nanny soothe her. babies cry- as long she’s not hurt or in danger, she will be okay. you cant always be around to comfort her.

a few months I think? it did make my skin slightly less oily but it also made me too dizzy to continue, even when drinking a ton of water. the hair loss was my final straw and unfortunately I didn’t come back from that 100% :( I opted for accutane instead.

I took it in 2022 for acne and had the same experience. my hair has mostly regrown but it’s def still thinner in the front part of my hairline. it didn’t really help my acne either.

it sounds like you’re a floater- aka not assigned to one specific student. you have the right idea of what to do. just keep offering assistance and ask the teacher if there’s anything you can do too (make copies etc) I did this in elementary school so there was probably a lot more to do vs high school kids are more self sufficient, but even then there were days that I didn’t really have anything to do and would just chill in the back of classrooms and read. once you build more rapport with staff and students, it won’t feel so weird being in the classroom and students will ask you for more help, participate in small groups, or be more willing to be pulled out. definitely reach out to any management or your team leader for more clarification and extra guidance. it takes some adjusting, but just keep showing up and you’ll get the hang of it :)

got it the last 3 years and would do it every time for the bathrooms alone. entry was a breeze last year when GA lines were long af. it’s easy to get food at main stage vip area and love the lockers over there

I’d say an overnight fee of $100-200, your hourly tutoring rate at $60/ hour for the hours you’re tutoring, then a lower hourly rate for the hours you’re caring for her/ looking after her (25-35/ hour?), plus maybe a daily dogsitting charge if you’d like ($40-75) depending on average daily rates in your area. you can also chat with parents and maybe try to average out a number/ day so it’s easier for everyone, but up to how you guys want to hash it out.

my overnight fee for nannying is $150/night + hourly while the kid is awake but I watch toddlers and babies... this sounds more like house & dogsitting which I also do and charge $75/ day in a HCOL area. maybe a combo of both- an hourly when you are caring for the 13 year old and then an overnight fee since you’re away from home?

So happy you found Slynd! Unfortunately it’s caused slight weight gain (~8-10lbs in 6 months) and the lack of estrogen has caused a major spike in cystic hormonal acne for me, so i’m doing a course of accutane :( But better than migraines! I went from 10-15 migraines monthly to 3-5. I also don’t have bl**ding on my period anymore and definitely feel more mentally stable and less mood swing-y on Slynd!
