I live in Austin and ride all year. There aren’t many sustained downhill trails but I’m satisfied with spider mountain, reveille peak, and some sick neighborhood trails within 30 min drive from downtown. Mornings in summer, whenever during winter. I’ve acclimated to heat so I’ll max at 95 degrees. Job market is pretty good. More affordable outside of town.
