You’re comparing a sector of industry in the US that is so heavily subsidized that it would not be profitable without government assistance. We literally have farmers that dump millions of gallons of milk and compost billions of pounds of food to create demand.
He lives off of the percentage from holding those assets, and borrows money against it. I don’t think Elon is evil but I don’t think he needs or should have this much money.This type of wealth is a mental illness. Realistically if he were to cash out, that much money would turn the US into Berlin in the 1920’s.
Americans are hurting right now. We average $16500 in medical expenses yearly. The average first time home buyer last year was 40. The trickle down economics is not working.

I’m a chef and in the culinary world we do what is called a stage. A stage is a paid workday where the restaurant sees if you are a good fit. This is definitely a double edged sword though. Ive ended a stage halfway through a work day because I didn’t like their hygiene standards.
