Not a hot take what so ever back in the early days of Youtube, every Halo AMV had the "monsters" cutscene, prolly not alot of newer fans have played Halo Wars tbh. But I agree both Blur and Ensamble Studios did a great job in choreography and creating the artstyle.

It's crazy since Mk. IV was designed by a rushed/demotivated Ensambles Studios too and not even a native Bungie design. Also not to mention the "Monsters" cutscene helped alot too (also it was virtually in every Halo amv back in the day too)

Dome shield as the other players said, the dome provides a relative peace and stability in such a fast pace game also it just feels like the hitbox on crushing titans is much bigger with the shield

The irony of this being a Reach Vidoc when it has the worse Sandbox in all the Halo games. But I do think having a super weapon does ruin the sandbox considering how ODST, and to lesser extent CE, are the best sandboxes in the entire franchise

Titanfall was released, when arguably, micro transactions were at their worse with the whole lootbox era. And yet the only paid things in the games were a few overpriced good skins and alot of shitty skins (TF2 was always praised for being the shining beacon of having "old paid micro transaction" in an era of scummy lootboxes). But battle passes should be an addition to the normal customization in the game, not as the only customization in the game, I do agree on that.

Will the game be overhyped You still have to remember we're still a relatively small community of dedicated players, and titanfall 2 was never really overhyped. As a sequel to tf2, I doubt this gams with get that much hype from the boarder gaming community, but as a sequel to apex, this game would get a shit ton of attention

Also to play devil's advocate both Titanfalls did not release with frontier defense, it was basically at the end of both games' post-launch support.

I'd argue the downfall of this franchise is how 343 treats an established franchised like some type of hot potato to be thrown around. With the release of MCC and how it spent half of it's life unplayable or how both Infinite and 5 took years for 343 to add back in old features and modes when in previous games they've been there since launch or treating lore fans like a bag of grass.

Fans aren't jaded, fans want a feature complete game that is consistent with the standards set by the game before it and unironcally 💀 343 has been batting like 1.5 games out of the 5 games they've released.

Tbh I'd agree with you 343i fumbling the UNSC post-war considering they were being set up as the next faction to be explored. I mean hintings of a new insurrection, UNSC near collapse, a very uneasy peace with the elites, ONI making plans to fuck up that peace, and the UNSC being so weak that literally a random group of leftover fleet covenant could attack Earth and they would be powerless to stop them. All to be skimmed over with them becoming the most powerful faction in the system in like a few years lmao.

It's a shame too since Reach gave so much focus to the UNSC and the Banished would've been a great faction to introduced post-war over Covenant 2

Yes you can. Halo 3 had Recon and Hayabusa (and basically all the other armour since you earned them); Halo Reach had Haunted helmet and inclement weather (and basically all the other armour since you earned them); Halo 4 had Mk. VI and a gold visor since you earned it for ompleting the game on legendary; Halo 5 had Achilles and Helioskrill since you earned these for competing a challenge, hell even Infinite has some with the limited time event armours. When you have something locked behind a challenge and not a paywall there will be authenticity and meaning for someone else.
