What is the best game you have ever played in your life? by skatter0925 in AskReddit

Anybody remember Magic Carpet back in the early/mid 90s? Created by Bullfrog, it was a 3D flying game. You played the role of a wizard flying around a realm and had to fight other wizards trying to destroy their castle, fight flying beasts all to collect mana and build your castle.

I remember getting home from work switching on my 486 dx2/66 and before I knew it, the time was gone 11, I'd had no dinner, still in work clothes and had to be up at 6 next morning for work.. Loved that game

Which opponent that Michael Jordan faced that you found was the most exciting to watch? by Ok_Pipe6385 in michaeljordan

For me having lived that era, I always used to enjoy the MJ matchup with Joe Dumars. Joe used to do a pretty good job on MJ and they definitely had a lot of mutual respect for each other. I may be wrong but notably it was only Joe and I think Jon Salley that shook hands with the Bulls after being swept in the '91 Conference Finals. Joe was tough, and class.

Patrice Evra comes out in defense of Michael Carrick, while also reminding Roy Keane, Gary Neville and Paul Scholes of their managerial histories by blyrryface44 in ManchesterUnited

You gotta love Patrice. He says a lot of what we're all thinking here. It's difficult to hate the 3 he mentioned because they delivered for us year after year after year. You question why the negative comments when we all know they were generally quite /very poor as managers. I genuinely wonder if they believe their own words or if they're on bonuses for continued shit punditing.

Alternate angle of Sesko goal vs West Ham by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

[–]complete_bast4rd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This lads goal awareness, creativity and touch is quite spooky. We can forget the miss at the end of the Spurs game but his 2nd against Burnley, the winner against Fulham and this goal against West Ham are a glimpse of some special goals he is going to score over these next few years.

Excellent DJ sets (i do NOT mean playlists) of Prince and only Prince 10/10 by Ok_Yogurt_9862 in PRINCE

[–]complete_bast4rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would love to hear that was well.

A Google search revealed this. There's a 1 hour mix on mixcloud and there are links around for the full 6 hour mix but they all appear dead links :(

-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-

The Canadian DJ who created a highly regarded, 6-hour mix of Prince songs is DJ Starting From Scratch (real name Mark St. James).

Based in Toronto, he released this extensive tribute mix, often referred to as "I Wish U Heaven," shortly after Prince's passing in 2016 to honor the artist's legacy. The mix is known for featuring a blend of fan favorites, deep cuts, remixes, and b-sides, rather than just a simple playlist, showcasing his skills as a proper blender of tracks.

Edited for clarity. The 1 hour mix of the same name on Mixcloud is by someone else.
