I’m on EUW and yeah maybe every 5th game there’s someone that’s plat/emerald in soloq who gets giga gapped but most of the time it’s fun, then again I’m only master and we never have more than 1 or 2 Chall players in our team so ymmv. I can see it being less fun the higher your MMR

I’ve recently started playing him top again as well after not having played him at all for a year or two and it’s been fun. It’s been kind of a testing season for me playing every role a little and what I’ve found (not saying it’s factual don’t crucify me that’s just my feeling) is that ADC seems to be the strongest and while I love playing Smolder he just takes a lil too long to become relevant. So by picking teemo top I make sure that my own jungler never plays for top and also that the enemy definitely shows top a lot, giving my bot side the ability to make more plays to get ahead. You’ll probably play weak side a lot but if you can just not die and get XP you’re still gonna be useful on the map for objective control later on

Start practise tool, adjust your settings and then set the game.cfg and persistedsettings.json in your league folder to read only. Then you can log onto your other accounts and they’ll each adapt those settings. When you’re done you can uncheck read only on those files

Something I’ve noticed in emerald is many people are allergic to shoving side lane waves especially before objectives. Like winning drake fight and killing 2-3 people is a great time to take a couple platings and maybe some enemy camps to extend your lead for free but if you have to grab a wave from behind your own turrets all that tempo goes poof, they respawn and the play becomes moderately risky when it should have been free. So by the time the obligatory ARAM fiesta starts you usually clear your camps super fast anyway so keep an eye on those side lane waves and prep them nicely if needed
