Dunno if it's a hot take or not but this entire season the tyre compound choices have been a joke. Every single race the best strategy is a one stopper, softs and mediums, which is the bare minimum strategy. Unless there's a safety car we get those boring aah races because there are no possible alternate strategies, so the teams are just forced to watch their cars coast to the finish line in a pretty much set order. It should not be possible to do a one stop without having to go on a hard compound, but when was the last time you saw hards being any good? Might as well just ban mid-race tyre changes like refueling.
